Sculpture
The Sultan of Turkey did not build the sculpture. Every sultan has built a mosque in his own name. The mosques named Sultan Ahmed Jami, Sultan Sulaiman Jami, Bayezid Jami, Selimia Jami are reminiscent of the mosque love of the Turkish Ottoman Sultans.
Not only Sultans, but also Yuvraj, Valide Sultana (Rajmata), Pasha and influential businessmen have built innumerable mosques in their own names. The Ottomans built so many mosques in Constantinople, once the capital of the Byzantine Empire, that Istanbul became the city of mosques. Another city in the world just got this honor. However, Erdogan's immortal masterpiece is the Chamilija Jami Mosque in Istanbul.
