BNS Sangram has left Chittagong for Lebanon

BNS Sangram has left the Chittagong naval base to replace the Bangladesh Navy ship Vijay, which is on a UN peacekeeping mission damaged by the blast in Beirut, Lebanon.
Senior naval officials said goodbye to the ship on Sunday (August 9th) at noon. The state-of-the-art Bangladesh Navy ships will monitor suspicious ships to prevent illegal weapons and ammunition from entering Lebanon.
Lebanon is a country in the Middle East that is in turmoil. The Bangladesh Navy has been working in the UN peacekeeping mission there for more than 10 years. Meanwhile, the naval ship Vijay, which was stationed at the port of Beirut, was damaged in the blast last Tuesday. Although some of the ship's sailors were injured, they are still alive. And the BNS struggle is going to replace the damaged victory.
