Bloom where you are

Hi Superstar,

How are you doing today? Are you still holding up? There are so many opportunities around you. Don’t be so bogged down with the happenings in your life that you lose sight of the beauties in your environment.

I am here to tell you this morning that “It’s important for you to bloom where you are”. Whatever your location might look like: maybe it’s in the ghetto, dessert, swampy side, rocky areas. BLOOM ANYWAYS! So many people have hidden under the shadow of their location to justify their lack of productivity. What about people that life wasn’t pleasant to at all yet they were determined to fight the odds and become great in life??. I’m sorry to tell you now that living in the slum is not enough proof to live a mediocre life. You deserve more!!!

It’s also very funny when I hear people tell me that ” they can’t make it in Nigeria but they will do well outside the shore of the country”. If it’s so difficult to shine at the location you were placed, what’s the evidence that he or she will do any better outside the country. I think it’s a wrong orientation. For anyone to be entrusted with bigger responsibilities, it only shows that person has been faithful and succeeded in the little things. Having a great plan such as traveling abroad is great but what will sustain you there is the lessons, skills, and knowledge you were able to gather in your first location. Before the greener pasture comes, bloom anyways wherever you are now!!!!

Sometimes, it’s true we can’t always choose the desired cards, but we learn to deal with whatever card we have and play them. It’s equal to also not being able to choose our family or where we come from but we must always make the best of our situation and bloom where we are. You may not be aware of this truth, but where you are now at the moment is giving room for the vital life lessons that you might need for your next adventure.

Also, for anyone to truly flourish where they are planted, It’s a must to stop the habit of complaining. Such an act does nothing but prolongs the day of your miracle. Instead of drowning in complaints, Have a belief that the moment is not forever and trust God that He has the best plan for you. Yes, everything happening to you might not suit your taste but trust Him for the best. He’s working it out for you, friend.

Every chapter in your life builds a foundation to launch you into the next chapter. Take a long pause to ask yourself what the present is teaching you and what lessons to take from it? Ask yourself how you can use the experience to propel you to the next phase in your life? While you are at it, bloom regardless of your location or circumstances now.

Lastly, I think you should cultivate a heart of gratitude always because it could be worse. I want to believe some people are going through something more challenging than yours. In everything, Be grateful to God and in faith ask Him to help you bloom where you are.
