An educational story
As long as I learn, I will live ......
A very beautiful story. This story is probably known to many of my wise, prudent Kora friends. Still, I'm sure everyone would love to know something new. In fact, it is not a story, it is a game. It is a very small, simple game, the essence of which is a profound policy and a cruel blow to the degradation of our values.
I was introduced to this game at an annual event of a local B.Ed college. A few of us were invited as guests on that occasion. Those who have studied at BEd College or have ever been there may know that all the members of a small BEd college together form virtually a large family. So on that occasion the principal of the college was requested to say something. He seemed to be eager to teach us something in a very fancy way. And we also see his teaching method.
. And seeing his teaching method, we also became practically amazed. What did he do?
He brought three college students and three female students in a row one by one. Then he handed over one balloon to each of the six. He then instructed them to inflate the balloons to a medium size. As if the balloons do not burst in any way.
Everyone did as instructed. No one's balloon burst. He then handed each one an alpin. Holding Alpin, he said -
Three minutes of this game. After these three minutes, the one whose balloon remains intact will be the winner of this game. Start !!!
As soon as they said start, everyone started hugging each other. In any case, you have to protect your own balloon and burst the balloon of others. Alpin is in your hand. They are not behaving like children! More attention is now being paid to bursting other people's balloons than to protecting one's own. Just a minute later, everyone's balloon burst, leaving only one. Everyone broke it together!
So, what was the result of the game? Three minutes away! My mother's balloon didn't last a minute. Therefore, no one won the game! This time the principal came and said -
What could be the exact opposite? We could all win. Couldn't I? You tell me. None of you have been told to blow up someone else's balloon. The winner was said to be the one whose balloon would remain intact after three minutes. All your balloons could have been intact and you could all have won!
This balloon is the symbol of our life. And the wind inside is our success, which we are determined to hold on to. The alpine in hand is a God-given ability to seek to destroy the success of others. And they all gave up their real work and focused more on that work.
This is exactly what is happening in our society. We all wish everyone else success in their quest for success. We assume that our heavenly ladder of success will be built on the corpse of someone else's failure. Each of our activities proves how we focus more on the failures of others than our own efforts, how we enjoy the joys of others more than our own successes. Life is like a cricket match, if you want to win, you have to lose to others.
But the progress of our human society is not like this. If only one person had succeeded for ages, losing thousands of rivals, then some individuals might have improved, leaving the whole world in the abyss of backwardness. That darkness, however, did not leave anyone, did not hesitate to swallow even the most successful person. Therefore, the real success is determined by the joint efforts of all, for the benefit of all, for the good of all.
It is here that the definition of unity, the definition of TEAM, is formed in the background of our minds. The meaning of TEAM is -
T-- Together
E - Everyone
A - Achieves
M - More
And I also welcome the doctrine of those who believe in living alone rather than in groups. But it is also true that walking alone does not mean being isolated from society, nor does it harm anyone in society. My victory means but not losing to anyone else. Rather, yes, someone's failure, someone's backwardness can be the cause of our overall failure as part of human society. I will end with some words from Gurudev - Whoever you put down, he is bound to you that below,
Whoever you put behind, he pulls you behind.
Stay well, keep everyone well .. :)
Wow, great article...
