The name of my village is Banglanagar in the District of Chittagong. It is a big village. Its area is about 11 square km. The famous river Sangu flows down at a distance of one mile to the east from our village. There is a big canal on the west of the village. A small canal also runs through the heart of the village. Many country-boats ply through it.
The climate of our village is excellent. Many good roads run through the village. Roads in our village can be used only in the dry season. During the rainy season, they remain under water. About three thousand people live in our village. People of different communities live here peacefully. There are both Hindus and Muslims. My village people are engaged in different types of works. There are many educated men in our village. Some of them hold high offices under the Government. There are lawyers, doctors, professors and merchants. Many of them live in towns. Moreover, my village is full of natural beauty, peace and so on. For these , the inhabitants like it very much.
