Assaults hits Ukraine maternity clinic, authorities say
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) - A Russian assault seriously harmed a maternity clinic in the blockaded port city of Mariupol, Ukraine said Wednesday, and residents attempting to circumvent shelling on the edges of Kyiv gushed toward the capital in the midst of admonitions from the West that Moscow's attack is going to take a more merciless and aimless turn.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy composed on Twitter that there were "individuals, kids under the destruction" of the clinic and considered the strike an "abomination." Authorities said they were attempting to lay out the number of individuals had been killed or injured.
Video shared by Zelenskyy showed merrily painted lobbies tossed with bent metal and a large number of rooms with extinguished windows. Floors were shrouded in destruction.
