It’s year 2012!
This means he still have plenty of time to prepare because as far as he could remember Bitcoin at the end of 2012 should be around thirteen US dollars or even if it is fourteen US dollars, it will never be too late because the price will continue to rise and even reach four hundred thousand US dollars at year 2031. If he could buy at least one Bitcoin, he would still be rich by that year. One Bitcoin is twenty-four million pesos. This money is already enough for his family to enjoy a vacation abroad once a year.
Although Stephen on his past life started his journey on cryptocurrency by the year 2019, he had still read the history of cryptocurrency during the past years especially on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Which is why he still knows something about a thing or two.
Aside from that, he also wants to invest in Doge and Litecoin. Especially Doge coin because this was his biggest regret. At the year 2021, around month of April, Stephen had withdrawn his two-hundred-dollar money after exchanging his Doge coins and CET tokens to BCH and BCH to PHP in Coins.ph because his mom kept on pestering him to stop his online activities because it might affect his health.
At that time, he was really helpless. And he really wanted to tell his mom that, “Ma, you should at the very least be grateful because I am very different from my peers. Although I always face my phone or laptop, but I am doing something to earn money. Not gaming that most of my peers have been doing.”
But he still kept those words for himself because he knows it was useless. He was very depressed at that time. And who knew that faith would still joke at him when he received the news that Doge has just reached its all time high on 8th of May.
Clearly remembering the amount of Doge he owned before and multiplying it to the price at that day. He could have made around twenty-two thousand US dollars. Heavy weights of regret filled his shoulders.
For a month, he couldn’t move on from the opportunity that slipped his hands. If only he knew…
Although he had recovered after a certain amount of time, the thought would sometimes trouble him. Which is why, in this new life, he will not let this chance slip his fingers again.
He will make big! He will buy Doge at the moment it began trading on December 15, 2013. He will become a whale!
For Litecoin (LTC), all he knew is that he can also make a profit out of it. Because if Stephen remembered it right, LTC from nine US dollars and seventy cents on November 25th will jump to forty-eight US dollars after three days.
The profit earned from trading this coin should help him purchase more Bitcoin by 2013.
But the problem is, he had just turned twelve years old six days ago. And in order for him to buy Bitcoin on the limited crypto exchanges of this year, he needs a valid ID. Otherwise if he doesn’t get verified, he wouldn’t be able to purchase Bitcoin or other crypto.
“Maybe, I can borrow my mom’s valid IDs and use her identity at that time. Anyways, my goal is just to purchase a Bitcoin.” Stephen thought.
“Alright, that’s settled then.” He affirmed.
Next, Stephen needs to draft a plan on how to earn money. Of course, with his past knowledge on the market and business trends who could beat him in making money? It is not even wrong to say that he is money making machine now.
But what business to do is the only question that bothers him now. Looking at his financial situation, he should be able to borrow two hundred fifty pesos from her mom. And he also knows that her mom wouldn’t be able to fork out more than that amount since her grandmother has just discharged from hospital two weeks ago and they still have debts to pay.
“So, what can I do out of two hundred fifty pesos?” Stephen thought for a while…
Lost in his own memories, like a lone traveler in the dark forest, a bright idea has suddenly emerged!
“Magnum Ice Candy…”
That’s right! Magnum Ice Candy is like an ice popsicle coated with dark chocolate. This business idea has become a trend on his past life around year 2021. This should help him earn a lot of money. Because the children should be bored with the traditional ice candy flavors like buko pandan, melon, and mango. If he introduced this to them, they would surely like it.
A few months ago, at the end February, Magnum has just launched in the Philippines. He can still remember at that time how he and his playmates drooled over the ads of magnum played on the tv.
But the Magnum Ice Candy at year 2021 uses all purpose cream, condensed milk, evaporated milk and melted chocolate. If Stephen follows the original recipe, he wouldn’t be able to earn a lot. So, he wants to modify it a little. Instead of all purpose cream, he can just add a bit of cornstarch on the mixture so that after it was cooled on the freezer it won’t be very hard to bite, instead it would come out much softer and slightly close to the texture of an ice cream. Then he would melt flat tops chocolate then add some Bear Brand powdered milk to make it less sweet and the taste be between creamy and chocolatey.
Calculating all the expenses needed for this revised recipe of Magnum Ice Candy, Stephen found out that two hundred fifty pesos is exactly enough for him to buy all the ingredients needed. How ridiculous was that?
After calming his excited heart from the future profits of ice candy business, Stephen began to think again about the other business ideas he can do that will help him earn more money. Of course, he wasn’t that ignorant to think that one business would be enough.
Although Magnum Ice Candy is good and will earn, after a long time the customers would get bored of the taste of Magnum.
Since it was still summer and he still have three weeks before the start of classes, Stephen is thinking if he should also sell Magic Water. A popular and unique drink of Aling Bebe of Binondo, Manila. At first look, people would think it is just a simple cold water but after they drank it, they would realize that the taste is a little sweet (because of banana essence) and there are unflavored gelatins mixed. But it cannot be seen because it is colorless.
It went viral and became famous around the year of 2022, since then, small street vendors across the Philippines have been making and selling this Magic Water. The ingredients are banana essence, unflavored gelatin, ice and water. Stephen thinks that aside from Magnum Ice Candy, this Magic Water will also give his customers a surprise!
Since there are only simple ingredients, the investment is small but the return is huge.
“It is decided then! First, I will invest my money on Magnum Ice Candy then two weeks after I will change it to Magic Water. For the time being, this will be the cycle of my business.” Stephen thought.
Next, he would need to wait for his mom to come home again before borrowing money. If he can start selling as early as possible, Stephen wouldn’t waste time because every second wasted is a money wasted.
