Chapter 3: The Girl is Back

At this time, a growing uproar was approaching the outside of dorm building. Steve walked over the balcony and saw a big group of male students he was acquainted with running wildly towards his dorm room. He could tell that they were all coming after him for the reward. Therefore, he quickly threw on some clothes and shoes and followed Narmel down the stairs.

As the dorm captain, Kobie worried about any unexpected mishaps. Hence, he readily gave up the comfort of sleep, got dressed, and accompanied Steve to wherever they were headed. Kobie was closest with Steve. Even though he was usually foul-mouthed and liked to buy Steve a lot, he was also the one who cared Steve the most.

As for Airon, he would not miss the chance of meeting pretty girls.

In the southern dorm building was situated outside the campus. As the four walked along the southern entrance and entered the campus, the saw many bulletin boards on their way, big or small, they were all filled up with pencil-sketched portrait of Steve on them. Underneath the portraits, written in conspicuously big font, it said, "1 Bitcoin Cash reward for bringing the above person to me- come to claim your reward by the entrance of Karen's Cafeteria."

Going by the number of bulletin boards there were in the school, there had to be atleast a few hundreds of this posters. This was no less than the scale of being wanted nationally!

"What did you do to that girl to make her come all the way to our school to make you a wanted man!?" Airon asked Steve curiously as he anticipated enthusiasm.

"How am I supposed to know? I don't even know who she is!" Steve responded impatiently.

Escorted by the big crowd, Steve unwillingly walked towards the cafeteria. In situation like this, there was simply no leeway for him.

"He's coming. He's coming!" Seeing that the wanted person had appeared, some students started calling out tauntingly.

As a result, the previously crammed crowd had automatically split to make way for Steve.

Under the gazes of a few hundred people, Steve awkwardly walked towards the door of the cafeteria, and... saw the pretty little girl from the other day.

She was wearing a white shirt and a pair of washed-out jeans. It was a very common outfit; yet, it looked outstanding on her. Strands of her hair were drifting in the wind. However, underneath the fluttering hair, there was an angry face.

"Ohhh... Ohhh..."

Someone started jeering.

"Such pretty little girl," Kobie who self-claimed to have countless girlfriends whispered into Steve's ear.

"When did you meet such a beautiful girl? Give us an introduction!" Airon turned around and winked at Steve as he said that. He was itching to have another shot with a pretty girl.

Seeing that Steve finally showed up, the pretty little girl pursed her lips.

Suppressing the awkwardness he felt, he walked up and asked under the many piercing glances. "I heard you were looking for me and how did you find my school?"

"I will answer that question later but first, where is my scrypt? Give it back to me!" Staring right into Steve's eyes, the pretty little girl questioned and demanded unflinchingly.

"What? What thing?" Steve was not expecting this from her. He felt surprised and confused, then, he remembered the microchip like structures on his chest.

"Do you mean the..." Before Steve could finish, Narmel quickly came forward and interrupted them. Rubbing his hands, he said, "Well..."

The pretty girl glanced over at and drew out her phone. "Your phone!" The girl asked Narmel to hand over his phone. Narmel unconsciously handed over his phone.

"I have installed Yenom in your phone and transferred 1 Bitcoin Cash. You can use it to buy anything like food, clothes, drinks, pizza and anything you want. Just scan the QR code and tap send." The pretty little girl smartly explained everything while handling back the phone to Narmel.

"You can go now!" she added while turning back her piercing eyes to Steve.

The students in the crowd were dumbstruck by this. They did not really believe that this little girl would fulfill the reward. Besides being shocked by the large value of 1 Bitcoin Cash, they never never knew that it can only be transferred via phone - way more secure that handling money in your pocket and you can conveniently buy anything at store with just one tap.

Narmel held onto his phone tightly and contently squeezed out of the crowd. He had no intent to take part in the commotion anymore as he was afraid that the pretty girl would regret her decision in giving him the reward.

"What a generous and rich little girl! No wonder she is so arrogant..." Steve secretly thought to himself while being surprised of what Bitcoin Cash can do.

"Now, give me back my scrypt!" The pretty little girl demanded again.

"What scrypt? I didn't even take it." Steve stared at her with eyes filled with gloom. He knew that the commotion that she has caused, he had now become "famous" in the school.

"You didn't take it? I saw it! It was on your chest!" she replied.

Steve dragged the pretty little girl inside the cafeteria. Now, that the audience was a little disappointed by their conversation. They thought that the pretty girl had been bullied in some way and had come to seek revenge. The fact that she was only looking to recover a lost item that she claimed was on Steve's chest was hardly entertaining. Since the two of them went inside the cafeteria, the audience started to walk away.

"That thing is of utmost important to me, I hope you can return it to me." The girl said to Steve with a friendly voice

"Last night, something happened..." Before he could finish, the little girl put out her hand and covered his mouth.

"Did something strange happened?" The girl asked in a very low voice.

"Yes" he replied. Suddenly, the little girl's hand reached for Steve's chest.

As Steve tried to move away from her, his clothes were torn off right exactly near his chest- a microchip like structure was revealed!

Not wanting to disclose the strange tattoo on him, Steve covered his chest with his handkerchief.

Suddenly, the pretty little girl reached out her hand again and placed it on Steve's chest as if she was trying to feel for something.

"We are in public, is it really necessary for you to be touching my chest?" Smacking her hand off, Steve seemed helpless.
