Creating your own token built on top of Bitcoin Cash is easy and with tools like mint.bitcoin.com, things are a lot more easier. A lot of people from the community tried creating their own tokens using the tool and probably they have reasons why they made one. I know for sure (though it's only a guess) just like any other SLP token creators, these newbies who wanted to try creating their own tokens have dreams inside which is specifically popularizing their tokens (each with a specific goal) and adoption. The only problem that most of them encounter is "How to distribute these tokens?". They can either choose to tip this token to memo users or airdrop their tokens. Both options would likely cost them more sats and would likely be unnoticed. They can also choose to build their own bots that supports their own token but it would cost them more.
Last February, Mint Bot solved this problems, have helped onboard new people to SLP token community and in fact, bringing new people to BCH community.
Mint Bot has bridged these gaps
Distributing tokens to hundreds of people at lowest cost
Like it is being said above, tipping tokens at memo or just even distributing these to people you know, you are paying transaction fees. Using Mint Bot, you can actually save yourself from too much fees. But with Mint Bot, you just have to send your token to the bot and pay around 266 sats (very affordable) and then you can already start sharing your tokens to hundreds or even thousands of people.
The faucet feature that has been recently added to Mint Bot last March 13 helps distribute their tokens easily.
The faucet feature is really helpful to token creators and it is evident with honk and sour tokens who switched to using Mint Bot when their faucet in the website is temporarily down. Both faucets are now working in the web but these telegram faucets using Mint Bot is still active.
Tokens getting their own value
SLP tokens will never get their own value unless the creator decides, but then again, even though your token has values, placing a sell order of your token at memo without people noticing that you even did - your efforts are useless.
Since you have made a faucet with Mint Bot and have gained adoption, you can start selling your tokens and so are your token holders. Just look what happened to Mint, Flying High, RNEW, and ARQUI token. There are a lot of people now buying and selling their tokens. And more and more people are joining the BCH community because they knew that they can earn BCH from claiming all SLP tokens in Mint Bot.
These SLP tokens created from a scratch actually gained adoption from doge community. With Max experimenting on what more can be added to Mint Bot, he started a trading group using Mint Bot.
Traders can choose to exchange their SLP tokens with another SLP token or sell it with BCH or doge. This is the evidence that even the doge community likes SLP :)
The bot that supports all SLP tokens
No bot has done that so far except Mint Bot. Though creating a bot that only supports your own token is good but creating a bot that supports all SLP tokens is better. Mint Bot allows token creators to have the chance to distribute their tokens, share common goals and so much more.
Mint Bot - The bot that supports minted tokens on top of Bitcoin Cash Blockchain.
You mint it, I tip it.
Status quo
Mint Bot currently has:
Over 1,500 weekly active Telegram users.
Being used in over 100 Telegram groups.
With over 50 active token faucets.
Inspiration for Mint Bot:
Mint Bot is a token service that supports all SLP tokens on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. We launched Mint Bot in early February. Since our launch, we have gained more adoption than we expected. Many SLP Projects and others have adopted Mint Bot to use their token within their Telegram community by tipping one another and setting up token faucets for distribution.
Our vision for Mint Bot is to bring more mainstream users to use blockchain tokens with their friends, communities, and projects online. - Max
Help Mint Bot
Currently, creators of Mint Bot is using their own funds to support withdrawals. Everyday, almost a hundred of withdrawals are being processed. Users of Mint Bot either transfers their tokens to memo.cash or into their wallets because after all it is not safe to store your tokens in any bots.
I am writing this because I have seen that Mint Bot is doing well and is helping a lot of people distribute their own tokens. Not just that, those who have received these tokens from faucet exchanges their tokens into BCH or from doge community who is interested in buying SLP tokens.
Honestly, there is no denying that even Mint Bot helped me earn BCH. I just traded some of the tokens I earned from faucets into BCH!
Donate BCH or any SLP token to Mint SLP! We appreciate your support :)!
