I meditate on your name all night

treasuring your revelation

I get up in the middle of the night

to thank you

your decisions are so right,

so true

I can't wait till morning,

I was up before sunrise, crying

for help, hoping for

a word from you.

I stayed awake all right,

prayerfully

pondering your promise

In your love, listening to me

in your justice,

keep me alone
