My childhood dream
Since the market is quiet by this time, and we don't have internet connection, I will try to make an article, about on how my childhood dream became the dream that I am pursuing right now. Since when I am a child or when we were a child, our parents will keep asking us "what we want to be when we grew up". So as what I always heard from them that engineers is one of the professions that offer a high salary. Then I always tell them that I want to be an engineer. So as a child I don't really know how hard was the responsibilities of an engineer. I remember how happy I am when wearing the hard hat of my uncle who attempts to finish engineering but he didn't make it due to poverty (may his soul rest in peace), I really think that I will be an engineer someday.
But, as I get old and get to know the reality, I start to think if I am going to pursue engineering courses upon knowing the real job of an engineer, and how difficult the way that I need to pass through before to be an engineer. I am hesitant so I have my second choice which is to be an accountant. Yeah, I love math over any subjects that's why I like the courses that have mathematics in the curriculum. From elementary into junior high school, my teacher in mathematic know me as a responsive student in class, since I am really interested in the lesson, but I am not "pabibo" HAHA. As what I told earlier that I am hesitant to take engineering and has my second choice to take which is accountancy. Unfortunately, when I am to enter senior high school, I need to choose a strand, choices are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), ABM (Accountancy, Business & Management), HUMMS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and GAS (General Academic Strand). As you can see, engineering and accountancy differs in strand, so I need to choose one. So my decision is my first choice which is the engineering, I am afraid that time. Since senior high school, I am not that active in class. Even if I know the answer, I am not answering until the professor called me. I became afraid because I am transferred into other school, where students are intelligent. I don't want to compete so I just lowkey sitting and listening to the interaction of the professor and my classmates. I used to that kind of situation, that's why I brought it into college HAHAHA. On graduation, fortunately with that kind of attitude I still be able to graduate as with honor. College time, the most difficult stage before I obtain my childhood dream. This time I need to choose the major engineering course I will pursue. Since I don't really what major I want to, I asked my parents and cousins. Upon surveying, I decided to choose Petroleum Engineering as my major. I expect too many math subjects, and I know I will enjoy it HAHAHA may lakas na ng loob. So fortunately, from first year up to present, I am a regular student that had a grade of two 3.00 and no 1.00 HAHAHA so mostly my grades was 2 point something, unless it is math/calculus. At present I am a fourth year Petroleum Student, I am hoping to graduate on time but I think thesis will not let it happen HAHAHA. So that's all. You can graduaate on time haha just believe in yourself. Pero okay lang din naman kung hindi kasi engineering HAHAHAH. At least, you are getting closer na sa dream mo. Ako engineering student din pero naligaw lang HAHAHAA

Masaya na ako palagi sa tres lalo na pag terror yung prof or kapag wala naman talaga ako natutunan HAHAHA. Instumentation and control ung course ko, third year na me ngayon pero di ko pa rin alam ano ginagawa sa course namin HAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAH oy same course kayo ng kapatid ko HAHAHA second year sya ngayon, may subject kami na ganyan last sem AHAHAH ang saya nun diba yung mga P&ID? Kaya mo yan HAHAHAHA san ba school mo? Magkasama sa trabaho ICE at PETE e diba? HAHHAHA
Masaya naman siya ket papano HAHA RTU school ko, ikaw ba? Ang alam ko varied ung industries na pwede naming mapuntahan, depende sa trip HAHAH pero yeah, nakakatrabaho rin ibang engrs
Oo HAHAHAH enjoying talaga yung sa P&ID na yun, layo rin pala, BSU school ko Batangas HAHAHAHAH
Omg big time school mo HAHA plano ko dapat mag apply jan kasi sa batangas province namin. Kaso ayaw ako payagan kaya rtu bagsak ko HAHA
Ala hahaha tatlong schools lang kasi nag-ooffer ng Petroleum Engineering sa Pilipinas, ang lalayo nga nung iba ADAMSON at Palawan State University, kaya buti na lang nakapasa ako hahahaha. Ayy weh? HAHAHA san ka sa batangas?
WAAH buti nakapasa ka. Galeng galeng, penge braincell kahit isa na lang HAHA. Ung ICE naman ung RTU pinakamalapit sakin kaya dun lang ako nag apply. Sa Calaca ako nagsstay kapag nasa Batangas haha. Ikaw po ba?
Alam mo ba di ko rin alam kung pano ako nakapasa HAHAHAHA Ala pang math lang ako, alam yan ng mga kaklase ko WAHAHAH. Ayos kaya jan sa RTU yung ICE parang jan graduate yung naging prof ko sa ICE noon e, ang galing non HAHAHA. Ahh malayo rin, sa Ibaan ako HAHAH diko alam if familiar ka HAHAHA
Omg sana ol magaling sa math HAHAHA kahit yun lang okie na pangflex eh. Hindi ko alam saan yun HAHA pero maniniwala na lang akong malayo
Hindi naman sobrang galing ha HAHAHA pang flex ba yon? HAHAHA flex mo na 'ko joke lang hahah hmm siguro mga 1 hour and 30 mins kapag pupuntahan, not sure hahaha bata pa ako nung last pasyal ko dun kaya di pa aware HAHAHA tagal mong nawala ah Haha
Pangflex yun lalo na future engr. Oh mukhang malayo nga. Kapag nasa Batangas kasi ako di ko inaalala yung mga lugar na pinupuntahan namin eh, umaasa lang ako sa mga pinsan ko HAHA. Uu kunware busy ako, nagpapamiss ako kay Rusty HAHA
Ang hirap naman magflex e baka tumaas expectation HAHAHA mapepressure lang. Ganun din ako dati e diko na inaalam lugar haha nung mga panahon na di pa ako nagddrive, kaya ngayong natuto na ay ligaw kapag may mga pupuntahan HAHAHA
Paflex ka na lang sa mga kaklase mo HAHA. Hala sana ol marunong magdrive. Ayaw ako turuan kasi marunong naman daw si papa. Hanap na lang daw ako ng magdadrive para sakin pag humiwalay na raw akong bahay HAHA kaya kapag naligaw ako, lakad lakad lang

HAHA mga engr students talaga hilig sa joke eh. Volunteer ng iba HAHAH usong uso ata yan. Saka na ako papaturo kapag sa probinsya para konti lang tao

Hanep, relate ako sa tres hahahaya. Nagustuhan ko naman na ung course kos a totoo lang kaso mo, sa second sem nong second year college ako ayon tinamad. Awan nakulong ako sa mga movies noon ee huehue. Mas inuuna pang mag download ng movies kesa mag code ampt hahaha

Ayun naman pala, nakagraduate, akala ko tumigil kayo e dahil sa movies HAHAHA. Pero hindi naman po kayo maiituring na tambay at kumikita rin naman po kayo kahit papaano rito sa online world HAHHAHA.

I think "what I wanted to do" was one of the harder decisions for me in my youth. I settled on joining the military, coming from a military family, and that worked out quite well for me. After I got out, the question of course resurfaced. I wound up doing manufacturing for many years, and now am in sales. But I have never regretted my path. I think I would have liked to be a rockstar or a very famous writer. But it just wasn't in the cards. So, I just went about my life and one thing I did do very well was pursue money. In the end, money has paid off more than any job ever would—so I am not dissatisfied with my outcome.
Hello there!👋 Well, I must say, magsipag lang talaga at wag na wag susuko agad sa pangarap. I know you can do it. Been there, mararanasan mo talaga yung struggles of being a student, but pag pursigido ka talaga na matupad ang mga pangarap mo, kahit anong pagsubok pa yan, makakahanap ka talaga nang solusyon para dun. Anyways, hindi naman talaga madali din yung course mo hehe. Ako nga eh, meron ako'ng 3.0 sa major subject ko pa.. Skl. :)
