The map of the hand

I will be looking at the hand from an esoteric viewpoint and to start with we need to divide the hand into sections.

The thumb which makes us very unique, followed by the ego finger, then the middle finger, the ring finger and finally the little finger.

The fingers are then broken down to separate sections like in the image. The sections are divided by the lines which your joints form.

Then you have the mounts of the hand. When looking at your hand "palm up" you will notice that the thumb has a lifted area when connecting to your wrist. From the image, you will see the painted areas.

The astrological signs and planets are mapped onto your hand. This week I will discuss some aspects of the hand. It's interesting how in 2020 the shake of the hand has been restricted. Very Saturn (smile).

The hands are very receptive and a great practice in the morning as the Sun is rising is to stand with your arms raised at about head hight. Palms facing the Sun.

Surrender to the Sun and let the Sun energise you through your hands. It is best to be barefooted on the earth, actual real earth which will ground you. Visualise this energy flowing through your whole body like a river which then breaks into smaller creeks to fill every little part of your body.

Have an awareness as to what thoughts you have. You can use a mantra or affirmation or try and meditate. It's a beautiful morning practice and will energise you for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow I will break down the hand in sections and discuss the importance of what jewellery you use on your fingers.
