Device Training

There are some positives when it comes to physical training and using all the different available devices. You can now see exactly what your heart rate is, the distance you travelled, the time you took, how many calories you burnt and the list goes on.

Just as all this information can be motivating sometimes it can also discourage you. A great example is the weights scale. I have been observing how my weight varies depending on the time of day and on what exercises I have completed that day.

As there are so many variables with water retention or if you did weights which could make you heavier. I can see how looking at your weight daily can also have a negative impact on your progress.

Try having a week without using any devices. If you go for a run, leave your phone or watch behind and instead of listening to music try repeating your affirmations. The same goes for any other type of training you are doing.

Use the time instead to connect with nature, listen to your body and see what your mind is up to. Feel your breath and hear your heartbeat. Connect with your body without any distractions.

At the end of the week, you can connect to all your training devices and see how you went from a technical perspective but also look at how you went from a spiritual perspective.

Remember to allow the results to be as they are and flow with the universe.
