Appearance of the word ' hamburger'

For the first time,an American newspaper used the term Hamburger steak sanwich . Nothing to do with ham,the word referred to a steak popular with the residents of hamburger in Germany . The recipe include minced meat and onions,and became the 'national dish' of the USA
