Hi! So we made turon for meryenda!
I feel like Turon as meryenda nowadays is not common unlike the old days.
I documented the process of cooking this for the sake of non-Filipinos who are here in RC.
Ingredients:
Wrapper
Banana na Saba
Sugar
Langka* (optional)
Oil
Prepare the ingredients. Slice the banana into two and Separate the wrappers.
Spread the wrapper and place the bananas on the bottom center and sprinkle some sugar. Adding langka (jackfruit) would make it sweeter.
Roll it like a burrito or sushi. Make sure it is tight.
Fry it. Don't let it burn~(my brother burned some >.<)
Tadaaaah~

I love maruya more but turon and anything banana is definitely the best kind of meryenda there is here ❤
