Binance has had a bumpy ride especially since a huge hack in 2019 but it is now firmly established as one of the top brands in crypto with profits of over 1 billion predicted in 2020. He returned to Shanghai in 2005 after working in Tokyo and new york and started fusion systems, a company that specialized in developing trading software for banks. He first learned about bitcoin while in shanghai and began investing in it, selling his home to do so.

Fred Ehrsam

Fred Ehrsam is the co-founder and managing partner of the cryptocurrency investment firm paradigm. He is an American business leader and investor. He is also a co-founder of Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange in a San Francisco apartment. In 2012 Ehrsamand and brian Armstrong co-founded Coinbase as a method for cryptocurrency aficionados to exchange bitcoins and other digital currencies. He announced his departure from the corporation in January 2017 but remained on the board of directors. He was also assigned to the company's audit committee before its April 2021 public offering and still owned 8.9 of Coinbase stock as of April 2021.

Jed McCaleb

McCaleb was an early blockchain pioneer who helped create three well-known cryptocurrency companies. Mount Gox, the first major bitcoin exchange was founded by him in 2010 and he sold it a year later before it was attacked. McCaleb co-founded Ripple in 2012 but departed soon after due to alleged conflicts with other founders. In 2014, he co-founded Stellar, a Ripple competitor to accelerate cross-border payments. The estimated 3.4 billion XRP he still retains from the original 9 billion XRP he grabbed as a ripple founder accounts for the majority of McCaleb's wealth. McCaleb gave the Machine Intelligence Research Institute Miri 500 000 united states dollars in XRP at the time of contribution and is still one of its top benefactors as well as a member of its advisory board.

The exchange's daily trading volume is currently approximately 200 million dollars. Cameron and Tyler aren't expected to run out of money very soon even if they aren't as wealthy as Mark Zuckerberg.

 Brian Armstrong

Armstrong is the co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, one of the world's largest and most popular cryptocurrency exchanges and a popular entrance point for many investors. He began his career as a software engineer for companies like IBM, Deloitte, and Airbnb before co-founding Coinbase with former Goldman Sachs trader Fred Airsome in 2012. Coinbase's market capitalization had increased to 68 billion dollars as of March 2021 with the business set to go public via a direct offering later this year. Armstrong is now one of crypto's wealthiest people with to his 20 shares in the company.

 Sam Bankman-Fried

Sam Bankman fried graduated from MIT in 2014 and founded Alameda research, a liquidity provider and trading firm three years later. SBF as he is known then went on to build the FTX exchange two years later as well as the Serum Decentralized Exchange. All of these accomplishments would be spectacular if spread out over a long career but SBF is only 30 years old and already one of crypto's most renowned and prominent figures.  Both Alameda and FTX are major participants with FTX being the world's sixth-largest exchange valued at 3.5 billion dollars an estimated turnover of 400 million dollars in 2021.
