STORY
************
You've had enough. Enough of his scolding, enough of his punches, of his yelling, and his threats; you just want out, so you do. You stomp upstairs and into the bedroom where you and your now ex used to make sweet passionate love and began packing up, you dial the phone and began to call a Lawyer to file a Divorce Paper for you and your ex-husband to sign.
“Just where do you think you’re going?” Your husband asked. You hear the slur in his tone of voice and you know, he’s drunk.
You scoff and set your luggage near the front door and wait for the Lawyer to come with the papers. Your husband asks again, drunkly, what were you doing but again; you refuse to tell him, arms crossed and unfazed by his growls anymore.
He keeps growling and threatening you in his drunken phase, until you both hear the door knock. You uncross your arms and open the door revealing a man in a grey suit and a brown brief case, the lawyer.
“Hello, I am Mr. Reynolds; I am here for Mrs. Harper?” He asked. You raise your hand and your ex-husband grows out of his drunken phase and goes into a hang-over but you want to get this over with. “Great, let’s get this started.”

“No!” Your husband screams as he watches, in horror, you sign your name into the Divorce papers. From the corner of your eye, you see his face turn pale and you could not help but make a sly grin. “No please, please Samantha, I can change, really! I will start, right now.”
Over and over those words play in your mind, “I can change, I can change” but you knew well that it will only be so for a little while and its back to the abuse. You can’t handle that anymore, he’s just too much of an alcoholic. As soon as you finish, you slide the papers to your now sobbing ex-husband as he begins to write his name with shaking fingers.
As soon as he is done, you shake hands with the lawyer as he places the papers in his brief-case and heads on out. You stay for a few minutes to say good-bye to the house, good-bye to the past, and good-bye to your officially and legally, ex-husband and head on out to move.

As you drive down the road, you look left and right for potential houses on sale. Some were too big, some were too small, others were apartments, and others looked like they were hit by storms of all kinds.
You sigh in frustration and stop at a red-light, as you fix your make-up you look over at the horizon to see a house up on the hill. As soon as the lights have turned green, you press on the gas gently and drove to the hill.
There, you see the perfect house just right for you and it was not too far from town but yet you have that peace and nature view you’ve always wanted so badly for years.
You call your realtor asking for the house up on a hill and after many calls, many waits, and almost half your paycheck, you finally succeed in getting the house and immediately, you start to drive up the hill and unpack.

As you walk up in your room, you take a look around, your first impression to the room was awkward but you knew well you would get new furniture and wallpaper. The wallpaper in your new room was white, green, and pink, the pink and green are the leaves and flowers, all in a virtual line paste on white wallpaper. Across from your bed there is a white vanity and a cushioned seat, on the left side of your bed is the window and a wardrobe, this wardrobe is brown so it did not match anything in the room. A dusty toy trunk, brown also, appeared at the end of your bed and a picture of Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night above your bed.
You place your luggage on your bed and began to unpack your clothes, hanging them up in your wardrobe and as you do, you began to hear some noise upstairs, they sounded like footsteps. You wait for the noise to come in again but they never came so you shrug your shoulders and went on to business only to hear the noise again with the addition of a girl giggling.
