In 2018, The State Bank of Pakistan stated that virtual currenciesĀ like bitcoin, pay diamond, OneCoin to name a few are not legal tender, issued or guaranteed by State Bank of Pakistan.

Reason?

A senior tax official said that people evade taxes and launder money using crypto-currencies. Bitcoin is sometimes used as a tool for money laundering due to the decentralization of peer-to-peer online transactions and their anonymity. No laws currently regulate the trade in bitcoin.

How To Regulate It Then?

You must be thinking then how come other countries are regulating and controlling the tax evasion when there is no restriction in trading Bitcoin and even now people will use the BitCoin Cash to buy groceries and cheese burgers. We have seen how micro-finance has taken over the cash and made available on every other store but if Pakistan's law maker do not find a way, we will lag behind. Yet Again. The best thing about it is we have blue print of how other countries are regulating it.
