A Day at Work
**Good Day Guys!**
Me and some of my colleagues were on our way to the Church because we had to attend a Mass where we were sponsors. While we were on our way o the Chapel, I took a photo of this building called MSGR. Charles Vath, this is where the library is located inside the University. I haven't been to this University for the longest time so I was mesmerized at the reflection that the newly installed panels were producing.
Let me share with you a quick recap regarding my day.
I slept around 3:30 am because I was researching things and I couldn't sleep. I woke up at around 6:30 am to get ready for work. Drove myself to work and timed in at around 7:59. I went to our department and I was amused because some of my colleagues rescued some kittens at the place where they store garbage. They were 3 kittens.
While waiting for our doctor, I was just resting and talking to some of my colleagues. Finally, our doctor arrived and endorsed all the patients to me. And told me that one of the patients was sleepy. So I set a time, and I went up at around 9:30 already.
I treated 3 patients, and all of them are seniors already. 2 of them suffered from a stroke and 1 fell and hit herself. After the treatment, I went down to our department. I heard that one of my colleague's patients has been staying in the rehab for an hour already waiting for the transport aide. I felt bad for her so I decided to bring her to the main entrance using the wheelchair. That's actually one stupid thing that's happening to our workplace right now, our elevator is destroyed and our location is in the basement. Some of the patients that we cater to are people who have pains and have difficulty walking.
After bringing her, went back down then ate lunch. Our chief said that there was mass at around 2 pm, I finished all our patients already so I decided to go. When we got there we were the first ones there. The mass was actually at 2:30 pm. While we were waiting, one person approached us and asked us to become a collector. It was my very first time to do that.
On our way back, I took another photo of the building from a different angle.
Waited for it to hit 5 pm, got home, and disinfected. Ate dinner and we were just playing with my cousin, siblings, and nephew until 1 am.
I hope that you guys had a wonderful day!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

Welcome to Your New Home Kylo!
**Good Day Guys**
Today, after waiting for several weeks we picked up the dog that my girlfriend got. These past weeks my girlfriend was just reading and watching videos about dogs. And prepared all the things we needed to take care of this cute little puppy. We were also thinking of names and we decided to call it Kylo.
We had to drive to San Luis Extension to pick up the dog. It's my first time going there, so I had to use google maps to see the route. There was only one thing that got me scared going through this place and it's how slim the road was. Only one car could fit and this road is two-way. Luckily I had only a few encounters with other cars going the opposite direction.
When we got to the landmark, we had to call the person who my girlfriend was talking to. And then she told us to climb the stairs. We were greeted by that woman's father. He was leading us to the roof area. Before reaching the highest floor he told us that he'll put all the dogs inside their cages first.
The first one to greet us was this dog, and it was the mother of the dog that we were going to get. She was really kind and she didn't even bark at us. My girlfriend told me to rub the blanket on that dog. She was also following the commands of the guy.
Here's the litter with all the other siblings.
I was curious and checked their shelter, these were the other dogs that they have. They even have a malamute on the left side and a pregnant German Shepherd separated from them.
This was his last goodbye to his siblings
When we were driving home, I never heard him bark. We also had to ask what was his birthday and it was on May 23, 2021. So he was just 6 weeks old. The first thing that he did was pee on that tray. But there's one thing that we didn't like about him and it was his smell, but we understood it.
He just looks so cute, most of the time he was just sleeping, my girlfriend made a really comfortable area for him to stay at. We were just observing his temperament. He's still kinda scared of humans. Getting him will make us more responsible people. Can't wait to see him grow.
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

My Colony Update
**Good Day Guys**
**Ants**
Here's a quick update on some of the insects that I take care of. These are my ants, they come from the Camponotus sp. species according to an ant group where I asked this to get identified. They are also known as Carpenter ants. Right now, they are inside a formicarium that I made. It was feeding time and I fed them a cockroach. Whenever I feed them, I usually yank out the head of the cockroach and place it on the rock. When I yanked its head off, I was surprised that there was so much yellow stuff that came with its head. And I remembered that I fed the cockroaches some mango. Look at how they were flooding it.
If you look at the corner those are where I placed the bodies of the cockroaches. I fed them 2 during that day.
I also made their favorite mixture and its sugar water in a test tube.
When I placed the test tube there, some ants were really curious. Until they went to the cotton. And tasted the mixture.
After a few minutes here come all the ants. Drinking from it. It's really amusing to watch them because you could see their bellies growing.
This is inside my formicarium, I never got to remote it already. You could see all the brood at the corner. If you look closely at some ants at the entrance you could see some of their gasters full of sugar water.
**Spring Tails**
Here's my colony of springtails. If you look at the side of the tub and see those white specks, those are the springtails. they help with decomposing and the prevention of molds. My brother usually puts it inside his tarantula enclosure. I also place them inside my ant enclosure but the problem is that they get them hunted down. It's easy to keep a colony because all you have to do is have coal, a tub, water, and rice. They love eating uncooked rice.
**Dubia Cockroach**
This is my Dubia Cockroach Colony, it's my first time raising them. I was actually successful in raising them. I have them for sustainability so I don't have to look for food from other sources. We usually feed them to our pet tarantulas and ants. Here's a photo of them eating the seed of the Mango. I usually also give them the peelings from the fruits/ vegetables that are getting disposed of.

Celebrating Relationships and Lives
**Celebrating the Anniversary of Our Grandparents**
Today, we had a multi celebration, the 61st Anniversary of our Grandparents, the birthdays of my sibling, cousin, and aunt, and the anniversary of 2 of our aunts and uncles.
When I was thinking about the 61st anniversary of my grandparents I was really amazed at how they were able to make their relationship last this long. It's really inspiring wherein they are setting a good example to all of us in the whole family.
Let me share with you how we celebrated. One of my aunt's who was based in Canada ordered food from her friend from Pangasinan and it was all seafood. There was so much food. My mom prepared the shrimp in the pot.
This is pancit Malabon. It's a dish that originated in Malabon, Metro Manila, Philippines. Its sauce has a yellow-orange hue, attributable to achuete, shrimp broth, and a flavor seasoned with patis and crab fat. I think my other aunt was the one who bought this.
There was also lechon, which was the only meat that we had during the celebration.
They also cooked Adobong Pusit and this is a tasty squid dish cooked using the popular Filipino adobo method which brings in an array of flavors that will surely make it really tasty. The only downside of eating this dish is that your teeth will turn black and be careful of your clothes.
There was Kinilaw (I'm not sure what type of fish did they use to prepare this), this is a Filipino fish ceviche wherein the fish was cut into cubes and cured in a mixture of calamansi juice, fresh ginger, and seasonings.
My mom and brother also prepared this salad. Wherein, some ingredients were boiled and the others are fresh. It is composed of Eggplant, beans, tomatoes, onion, ginger, salted egg, green mango, and Okra. You usually get this and add some condiments to make it a tasty salad.
My cousin also prepared this dish Ginataang Alimasag (or alimango) which are Crabs cooked in Coconut Milk. He also prepared blue marlin steaks which I wasn't able to take a photo of, but it really tasted delicious.
It was really a seafood feast when we celebrated. I really had fun bonding and catching up with my family.
The party is not complete without dessert. They got a streamline cake. I just love the taste of this because it's not too sweet and it's really fluffy inside.
Lastly, this is Pichi-Pichi which is a gelatinous dessert and is made from grated cassava and sugar. One thing why I loved eating it was its cheese on top. It really made it more flavorful.
This was a really fun party and I pray that they will continue to be blessed all throughout their lives.

Caturday with Yoda
**Good Day Guys**
HAPPY CATURDAY!!
Finally, I was able to catch Yoda sleeping in a really weird position. just look at where all his paws are. One of his legs from the back is at his head. When I saw this position, I was just laughing at him and I took photos of him.
I really don't know how he ended up in that position.
There also came a time, where he was staying in his favorite spot inside this house. That chair is his favorite spot. For some reason, he looked really different from this angle. You could also see our dog named Pierre in the background.
I don't know but Pierre looked really chunky in this photo,
I took another photo of Yoda in another angel, and he looked different again. Eventually, Pierre went to him and disturbed him in his spot and he walked away.
If there's something that I love about Yoda, it's because he's really photogenic. He really looked good in this photo. This is also one of his favorite spots because it's high and it's near the window. He usually stays there and meows so loud to get the attention of the other cats. This cat is really cute and funny.
These two are really best friends. I usually catch them sleeping together. My mom told me that there are instances where Yoda is grooming Pierre by licking him. Where ever Yoda goes, Pierre would follow. I never thought that they would become best friends. This removed my thinking where dogs and cats can't be best friends. I wish to continue watching them as they grow older. I hope that their friendship will never change.
Anyway, I hope that you're all having a great weekend!

Turks- SM Jazz Mall
I was at SM Jazz Mall because I was staying at an Airbnb beside it. I just came from a six-hour trip and it was almost dinner time. I was looking for a place where to buy food and I spotted a store that's familiar and affordable and it's called Turks.
This was how the kiosk looked like, it's actually small, and they have 2 chairs at the side if you wanted to dine in.
I chose this place because I didn't like to eat something that was random because it might get me a stomach ache for an exam the next day. Their food is more on Doners and Kebab with Pita or Rice. I opted to get a Beef Doner with rice it costs 99 Php or that's around 2.02 United States dollars. I was just watching the guy prepare my meal while waiting for it. Instead of eating it at the mall, I went back to the place that I rented.
This was their packaging, it was in a brown bag.
They also put it in a box. I just love how their slogan goes
This was how my meal looked. It came with beef, cucumber, onions, and tomatoes which were drenched garlic and cheese sauce. I didn't like them to add the spicy sauce because I'm not fond of spicy stuff.
I just love the taste of this because it tasted delicious. The beef was flavorful and the sauce enhances it. After eating that meal, I was craving for some more but I had to control myself haha.

Start of the Month of July
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you about my day, I slept at around 3 am because I was speaking with my nephew. Haven't spoken with him in months and we were just catching up and talking about life. After speaking with him, I was able to write my blog.
I woke up at around 6:45 and then got ready for work. I was really slow at moving. Then I drove myself to work. I noticed that there's one lane in the Rotonda that they are fixing and because of that, it's less traffic. I then went to our family friend's place to park, our friend is kind enough to open the gate for me. As soon as I got out, their dog was there to greet me, his name is Tarzan. He's such a friendly dog. I then went to our workplace, go through the triage, and then timed in. I then read my girlfriend's message and she asked me to get the list of doctors who are available because she's going to have something checked up. So I went to the doctor's offices and took photos of the doctor's names and their professions. I then went back to our department.
I was just waiting for the go signal of our doctor. Thankfully she texted me that I could go and start treating some of her patients. I then got ready to go treat the patients and gathered all the equipment needed. I went to the highest floor to treat patient 1, that patient of ours is suffering from dizziness. Lately, he has been complaining of slight pain in his lower back, I was telling him that he should try his best not to be lying on his bed the whole time and mobilize himself. He might be getting his back pain from just lying down. I then went to patient 2, it's my first time seeing this patient and the watcher made her sit on the bed which was something that I was going to do. So I just ended up doing some exercises on her weak side (she suffered from a stroke). Our doctor texted me on what to do regarding the rest of the patients. I had to go down and gather some more equipment.
I then went to patient 3, he's suffering from neck pain. It was also my first time treating him, and he said he didn't like it there in the hospital already, so he said that there was a chance that he would get discharged. Right now, his only problem is, is his blood sugar because he's a diabetic. After his treatment, I had to go to the room beside him because that patient was going to get discharged. I was getting all his details, we were also talking for a long time, I was reminding him to take care of himself already because there a chance that he could get a re stroke. I was also teaching some home exercises. I'm glad that he was about to go home already. I saw his progress from just lying on his bed to walking.
I then went down to our workplace, and they told me to go up to the business office. I had to go to the business office to get the computed hours if ever I get my leave. I then went down and after that, we all ate lunch.
After lunch, one of my colleagues asked me to teach some exercises to a patient who just had himself checked. So before going up to the ward I had to teach him some exercises. After that, I headed to my last patient. This patient is usually awake early in the morning at around 3 am so I couldn't treat her during the morning. Finally, she wasn't in the ICU already. This patient is partially blind and deaf. She has a hearing aid which is like a microphone. Thankfully the patient's watcher was kind enough to assist me to treat her. We were just talking with the watcher and she was telling me so many stories regarding their lives. She was really thankful after the treatment.
I then went down disinfected, did all the notes, and updated the doctors. I was really sleepy at that time and my head was starting to hurt but I couldn't do anything. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. So I just waited it out.
As soon as it hit 5 I went home. When I got home I ate a snack and then I slept. After sleeping we ate dinner with my family, and after eating we just played GTA V with my siblings, cousin and nephew. It was really fun and funny playing. To end my day I spoke with my girlfriend.
Thanks for reading and stay safe always!

Last Day of the Month of June 2021
**Good Day Guys!**
Let me share with you how I spent my last day of the month of June 2021. I had to wake up early because I had an appointment with PRC. I was so stupid because when I was checking the printed schedule, I booked the wrong appointment. I printed it and decided to go there and take my chances. Before leaving the houses, I took a photo of the pond. Can you spot the kitten?
I went to PRC, I had to fill up a health declaration form. I spoke with the guard and he was really kind to me, he just told me to set an appointment that I'll be claiming the document. So I had to set an appointment using my phone and their website. And they told me to go to the highest floor to have it printed, and it costs 15 Php. I went to the main floor, and the guard told me to go back downstairs to get a number. I got my number and waited for my name to appear on their screen. The lady told me to buy a postal stamp and it costs 40 Php. Went back and received my document.
From PRC I walked going to Session road because I also had an appointment for my eyes. This was at the overpass. This was one of the busiest intersections in Baguio. If you look at the street at the right, that's where the night market is usually held.
I reached the optical called M.R. Balajadia Optical. It is located at Pelizloy Centrum- basement. Here's their number (074)2469810. The optometrist there is one of our patients. She is really kind to me. She told me that my grade increased already. She also picked the frame and told me that it suits me. She was kind enough to give it to me. She said that she would text me when it's done already.
I had to pass by session Road going back to SM City Baguio because thats' where my mom and sibling were.
Everything was just uphill, I don't know why but I really find it amusing to look at the photos when the people are walking. Especially the position of their legs and their foot. Maybe it's because it's something that we studied when we were in the University.
Once, you're on top of Session road you would see this Rotonda. They actually made this centerpiece lately. It's a tower full of different kinds of plants and it even has a falls on 2 sides. It would have been a nice sight if you could go closer to it.
Before entering SM, I had to fill out a health declaration form through a scanned QR code which makes it less of a hassle. When I entered, the guards were really strict enforcing the safety protocols. They had megaphones with them reminding us to use our face shields and facemasks properly.
I had the chance to go to the highest floor of SM. I just love going to their balcony and looking at the view from the mall. You could see Burnham Park. You could actually see the building where PRC is located and I walked that haha.
I also liked how these plants were creating a shadow on the fake grass.
It was really hot during that time, so I noticed that these people were staying under the shade
You could also see Baguio Cathedral and my alma mater the University of Baguio from this angle.
From there I went to my mom and helped her carry the groceries. When we went to the car, I received a text message that my glasses were already done. I was shocked because it was really fast. I asked my mom to drive me there and I got it already. I already started using it and I couldn't stop saying thank you.
We got home and ate lunch, then I got ready to go to my girlfriend's place. I drove going there and it was slightly traffic. All I did was just sleep and eat dinner. I got back home and I was able to talk with my nephew after a very long time of not speaking to each other. It was such a really fun day with so many experiences it was nice to bond and reconnect. I hope that everything went well with the last day of the month with you guys!

A Terrific Tuesday
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you about my day, I sleep at around 3 am in the morning again. I don't know why my sleep pattern changed so much. I had to wake up at around 6:30 to get ready for work. Before going to work I usually finish making my blog and then getting ready for work. I left our house at around 7:40 already and I was fearful if there would be a lot of traffic which will cause delays. Fortunately, when I was driving there was no traffic at the parts where I was expecting traffic. On my way there, it was traffic going towards the new parking of SM City Baguio because of the vaccination program for COVID-19. I also saw the line of people lined up and it was really long. The line was around 250 meters. I then got to the area where I parked and then rushed to my workplace. I was able to time in at 7:59. Then I went down to our department.
I was just resting while waiting for our doctor. When our doctor came, she spoke to one of our colleagues who was absent yesterday and told her to get cleared by the triage before going to work, so she had to do that. And then she endorsed us all our patients. We then got ready to go up and fixed all our equipment. We started by going to the fourth floor to treat two of our patients who were located there. We went to our patient who needed the hot pack first. His problem was his dizziness and we were treating it. We were telling him to try to get used to his old routine by starting to walk and moving his head little by little.
We then went to patient 2 and she was in the ICU, we couldn't treat her yesterday because her heart rate was really high. When we treated her, she was uncooperative and one difficult thing about treating her is her deafness. She actually has a hearing aide with her and there's like a microphone attached to it. We were only able to make her long sit for 15 minutes.
We went to the other building to treat 2 more patients, our third patient has a really sad story. She's a battered wife. When we were talking to her niece, she was telling us everything that happened to her aunt. She even told us what the husband did. Before she got admitted the niece saw that our patient was outside of her house and she soiled herself already. Apparently, the husband locked her out of the house for 2 days already, she had a black eye also. Just so you guys know, she's already a senior in her 80's. There was even a time where the husband used a baseball bat on her and strangled her. And if you only saw her, you'll feel really bad because all her bones are protruding already because she's really thin. It looked like that she wasn't getting fed already. The family members tried letting her escape from this but the only problem is that she always went back to him and she would even defend him. Right now they separated the guy and put him in a facility. After the treatment, I heard that she was about to go home already. We were really happy for her.
Patient 4 is a stroke patient. He's actually cool, I'm glad that when we were treating him his weakness wasn't as much. We were able to start making him walk already, he may be slow at walking but at least he was able to perform it. One problem that we noticed was his right hand wherein he had problems closing and opening it. We asked him what happened during that day of his stroke and he told us that it happened when he was at the gym, he felt sudden weakness. After finishing the treatment, we went down and disinfected.
I had to apply for an appointment for the Apostille of my documents in DFA. I asked my brother to print it because he lives in the City, and he met up with me. I also had to photocopy our passports. Went back to our workplace and ate lunch. That's when I learned that one of our colleague's mother's tested positive for COVID-19 and I really felt bad for her because she had co-morbidities.
LAter in the afternoon, we went to DHL SM to pass our requirements. Finally, we were able to complete it after going back there 3 times. It felt really good.

Overtones Ito Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant- Baguio City Philippines
**Overtones Ito Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant**
We were looking for food that we could eat with my girlfriend and she was craving either sushi or pizza. We were looking for a restaurant in Food Pand where we could order our food. She found a restaurant called Overtones Ito Sushi Bar. It was our very first time ordering it. We ordered it during the afternoon and had it delivered at around 5:45 pm.
When I got it from the delivery guy, this was how it was packed. And there were 4 chopsticks that came with it.
The container was kinda big, but for some reason, I was expecting to carry something heavier.
I'm actually surprised that it was able to stay intact despite the motorcycle ride.
I really love the way that they presented the meal, The egg hearts looked so cute. Everything tasted delicious but the California Maki was my favorite.
The only downside of ordering from this place was this. There was barely any soy sauce, so if ever you're going to order from this I suggest that you have extra soy sauce at your place. Just look at how much sauce was given,
This was how much everything cost 659 Php or that's around 13.55 United States Dollar for the whole platter. I enjoyed this platter but the soy sauce was the only problem.

Baguio City to Manila via Bus
**Good Day Guys!**
On my way down to Manila, I took a bus and I decided to take some photos of the places that we had to pass by before reaching our destination. I just love the reflection of this photo, it was showing the reflection of the pond showing the houses and the sky. This was taken at the Express Way somewhere in Tarlac City.
Let me share with you what I had to go through traveling from Baguio to Manila. 2 days before I went on my trip I had to buy a Bus ticket from Victory Liner, as of now, I think that's the only bus that's operational here in our city. A ticket from Baguio going to Manila costs 576 Php, that's around 11.87 United States Dollar. There was no line and I was surprised that you could already use your online wallets. I used my coins.ph account to pay for my ticket.
I had to go to Manila to take an exam and this was my only means of transportation going there. I got dropped off at the station and before riding the bus I had to show my ticket to the guards. They also got my personal information for contact tracing purposes. The guards just told me to go straight ahead, I was going in the wrong direction towards the people who were sitting on monoblocks until one lady told me that if I had a ticket I could go straight to the bus. I guess all those people were chance passengers.
I went inside the bus and I was looking for the seat allotted to me and I was in the row inside, I was seated at around 10:30 am and my bus leaves at 11 am. This was my first time experiencing using public transportation going to a different place during the pandemic.
At around 10:45 the guard came and told us that we could switch seats already so I went to the window side. I really find that plastic barrier a nuisance.
I was just waiting for our bus to leave and it left at around 11:20. I really thought that we would leave earlier. I'm really glad that I didn't have to sit beside somebody. Something that I don't like when riding these buses is the aircon, so I made sure to close it because it gets too cold inside.
That's the amusement park beside SM City Baguio, I only visited it once during the pandemic and I was only able to try the Ferris wheel. I'm not sure whether they are earning during this pandemic because ever since it happened our tourism got crushed.
This is BGH Flyover, and below it is the Rotonda. I usually pass this every time I go to work and go home. Haven't seen this view in such a very long time, because I don't usually pass by the flyover. This Rotonda is one of the busiest, there are times when it gets really traffic which I really hate, and it usually happens when I go home. I usually weave my way through the traffic.
I was just taking a random shot and you look at it, it's really foggy, I just noticed that the power lines in our city just look so ugly to look at. Here you can see someone buying rice from this store.
We also passed by The Divine Mercy Parish which is beside the entrance of Suello village.
If there's one thing that people love seeing in Baguio, it's the fog. I usually hear tourists say "Parang nasa langit tayo"(It looks like we're in heaven) whenever they encounter the fog.
Here's one instance where you could barely see the background because of the thick fog. But you could see all the wiring haha.
If you zoom in on the photo, you would be able to see the tunnel. I remember I went there with my colleagues one time after a session of drinking. It was really a nice experience on top of the tunnel, We walked it from end to end. We noticed that people go there and drink from all the empty bottles that we saw, a kinda sad sight because people don't dispose of their trash properly.
Here's a tunnel shot. Whenever I go down using a bus, I usually inform my parents that I'm in the tunnel already. That means that I'm already close to the City so they can get ready if ever I have to get picked up.
In my opinion, this is one spectacular view because you are overlooking La Union and you could even see the sea. Though it would also be a hassle to live near here because driving to the city takes around 20-30 minutes depending on the flow of traffic. And what makes this highway bad is all the long trucks that are passing it.
After an hour and thirty of traveling, we had a stopover at Sison Pangasinan. I really thought that there were no stopovers already. Because when I used to take the premium bus there were no stopovers. But I'm also thankful that they don't pick up people along the road. I guess the driver had to take a break and eat, even though I was rushing I couldn't do anything about it.
During the trip in the expressway, the view was mostly farmlands and ponds. I also saw some farmers tending to their land.
I also experienced different kinds of weather when going down, it rained in one part of my trip, and all of a sudden it was shining in a different town. I also had to use the curtain to cover the window because there are times when the sun's rays were too hot.
Finally, I reached the NCR region and this was taken at Quezon City, you could see a double reflection of the building from the windshield of the car and the hood of the car.
I reached my destination at around 4:30 pm. I really thought that I would arrive there earlier, but I'm thankful that arrived at my destination safely.
I noticed most of my bus shots had the reflection of the yellow curtain haha. Anyway, Hope all of you are having a great day!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

Happy Caturday
**Good Day Guys**
Happy Caturday!
When I got home, I spotted Yoda sleeping comfortably on our couch, I can't help but take photos of him because he really looked so cute.
Later on, he even changed his position, putting his legs near his face. I really don't get how he does that, but he seems so flexible.
After that, I noticed that our dog Pierre went to the same couch and Yoda woke up.
What made it worse was, Pierre started humping the neck pillow, while he was doing that Yoda was giving him a really judgy look.
He just seems to love that pillow so much and he looked so desperate.
Yoda just looked so traumatized from what he was seeing, he then left the couch after.
Let me introduce to you one of my gaming buddies, whenever I play using my laptop, there are times when Yoda would jump up the table and walk around it. In this photo, you could see him flashing his balls at me
There's just one thing that I'm scared of whenever he goes near my laptop, it's his strength to destroy things. He already managed to destroy my f2 key. He yanked it out and then our dog chewed on it. That is one of the most painful things that my pets did to me because my laptop was still brand new when it happened. But I had to forgive them because I can't stay angry at them, they are just too adorable. Having a cat and observing him is really fun, I just hope that he would become friendlier because he's really cold and snobbish most of the time. The only time, when he's clingy, is whenever he is asking for food.
I call this photo The Paws of Destruction

Red Ribbon Bakeshop- Baguio City Philippines
We had to buy a cake for our colleagues who were celebrating their Birthdays in June. One of my colleagues suggested buying a cake from Red Ribbon. This Red Ribbon was located at SM City Baguio,
Before entering the bakeshop, you have to write your personal information or scan a QR code and fill up the health declaration form, we did the latter. They also had to take your temperature.
The first thing that we went to was the cake section where all their cakes are displayed with their prices. They had a variety of cakes and their flavors. We decided to get their Rainbow Dedication Cake which was 8 by 12, it's actually their best seller. It costs 588 Php or that's around 12.11 United States Dollar. We also asked them to write on top greeting our colleagues. Both of my colleagues' last names start with B so we decided to make it B1 and B2
While one of my colleagues was transacting, I decided to go around and look at the other goods. They have different types of baked items and they were even selling them in packs. One thing that my grandpa loves getting from them is their empanada. Whenever we go out during Saturdays he usually asks us to buy empanada from this store.
Here's how the rainbow dedication cake looks like when you cut it. I like its tastes because it wasn't too sweet and the chocolate frosting enhances its flavors. We truly enjoyed the birthday party.

A Gloomy Day
**Good Day Guys**
This was what happened during my day, coming from my day off, I usually get a lot of sleep during the day, so when it comes to night time I sleep really late. I slept at around 2 am already. And then I woke up at 6:15 am, I was still so sleepy so I extended it til 6:30. After that, I got ready for work. Before leaving for my workplace I used my laptop and finished writing. I then prepared the things that I had to bring and texted our family friend that I'll be parking at their place again. The drive going to work was okay because it wasn't that traffic. Though it was really gloomy during the morning. It drizzled a little. When I got to the parking area, I'm glad that it stops drizzling already. So I walked to my workplace and went through the triage and timed in.
When I got to our department, I was just patiently waiting for the endorsements of our doctors. Our doctor suddenly called and told me to treat patient 1 because she was about to get discharged already. So I hurriedly fixed all the things that I needed and used the PPE's. I went up the stairs and went to the other building. When I saw her she didn't look like she was in so much pain anymore unlike when I treated her Last Monday, her right knee was really swelling. I concentrated more on mobilizing her into short sitting so she would get used to sitting. I also instructed the watcher on what to do, when they get home and I was advising our patient to remain active and not stay in her bed the whole time. I then said my farewells to them.
I went back down to bring equipment down and stock up. I had to go to patient 2 who was on the 4th floor. When I was treating him, he already forgot that I treated him last Tuesday. It was really fun talking to him. While he was on his Hot moist pack, I went to patients' 1 room which was in the other building to give the endorsement of our doctor. I went back to our patient and performed some exercises. After the exercises and walking, his BP suddenly shot up, so I was just monitoring him most of the time. Here comes his wife talking to me, when I said my last name she recognized it and started saying all my relatives. She said that Baguio is a small world. I'm glad that I was also able to meet her. I was thinking that this patient was for a discharge but at the end of the day, he wasn't.
I then went to patient 3, a new patient. But when I got there, the Occupational Therapists were there and they told me that the Blood pressure of our patient is not going down the range of treatment. So Our doctor told us to go back to him during the afternoon.
I then went to patient 4, I really feel bad for this patient because she's a battered wife, The husband hit her in her head. She's really old already around her 80s, She doesn't have that many muscles anymore, and she looked like she wasn't being fed at her own place. When I was treating her she seemed so disoriented, she would also only occasionally listen to my commands. I was only able to do Full backrest elevation to this patient and some exercises.
I then went back down to our department and started sterilizing the equipment used. I also charged and did some of the notes. Then I was just patiently waiting for lunchtime. When Lunchtime came, I heated my food in the microwave( I usually prepare my lunch the night before). There were mangoes, cookies and one of my colleagues even gave us Yogurt drinks. During our lunch break, one of the doctors was asking about the update and she also told me to prioritize the feeding of the patient-led by the occupational therapists because his BP was fluctuating.
So I was just waiting for it to hit 2 pm before I treated my workmates' dad. Unfortunately, he suffered from a mild stroke. I'll never forget their family because they let me stay there during a vacation. They are really kind. I went to our patient and was instructing him on what to do. I had to make him walk so when I tried making him walk, and it was difficult for him because he would twist his ankles during his first step. So I had to give him verbal cues when I was treating him. He was my last patient for the day.
I then went down to our department, sterilized all the equipment, did the notes, and updated all the doctors. I was just patiently waiting for it to hit 5 pm, there came a point where my stomach was really painful. So I immediately left work then drove home. It was traffic at the Rotonda of BGH. As soon as I got home, I was able to relieve myself from the pain. After that, I was just using my laptop and snacking at the same time. Dinner came so I was able to eat some more.
After dinner, I was just watching some anime, until one of my siblings asked if we wanted to play GTA V, so we started playing. Our cousins also joined us, one was even from the states. We were just competing with each other, we were playing racing game modes. We stopped playing at around 12:30 am already. And I spoke to my girlfriend and told her about my day and then slept. . I hope that you guys had a wonderful day!

Ant Diaries: It's feeding time
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you an update regarding my ants. Today, I found time to feed them and take photos of them eating. If you look at the photo closely that's a cockroach head. I usually feed them pre killed dubia cockroaches. I yank out the head of the dubia and place it on top of the rock. They were really curious and they were drinking the juices from it.
I actually placed 2 Dubia cockroaches because I haven't fed them in how many days. As soon as I placed them there, they started flooding the whole place. I don't know why but it seems so satisfying to watch them disable the cockroach so they'll be able to eat it.
Here's another shot of them flooding the cockroaches. I was watching it and you could see the ants were just attacking and stinging them. I'm actually raising a dubia colony for them and the other exotic pets of my brother. And I like giving them food from my bin because I know that they are clean. It's really difficult to use others especially if they are wild-caught because they can contain parasites that may kill the whole colony.
Last Saturday, I decided to give them some sugar water using a test tube and some cotton. I just placed brown sugar inside and diluted it with water.
I placed the test tube inside the formicarium. I added this because they already finished the jelly ace that I tried feeding them. It was my first time to feed them jelly ace and they finished it in 5 days.
And after a while, I saw an ant taste the sugar water on the cotton and it called the others.
Here's a shot of them, the ants were all over the sugar water, I guess they really missed the sugar. These are the times when I find it really amusing to watch them do their thing. The ants would even share the sugar water with each other. I noticed after feeding them most of the brood have eaten already. I saw it when I check their chamber where they are all stored.
I was still looking for the queen ant but unfortunately, I still couldn't spot it. Ever since I transferred them to the aquarium, she never showed up already. I'm still on the hunt of looking for her without disturbing her. I know that she's still alive because she has been laying a lot of eggs lately.

Planning Ahead for the Future
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you how my day went. I still had a crappy sleeping schedule, I slept at around 3 am in the morning and woke up at 6. I was then doing my blog and I received a text from my workmate that she won't carpool with me because she had to go somewhere in the morning. I then got ready for work. I drove myself to work using my brother's car and I was surprised that there wasn't any traffic. I then went to park the car at our family friend's place. I had to open the gate myself and there was a really long line that reached the front of the gate for the vaccination. I then walked to my workplace after that. Went through the triage and then logged in. I went to our department and was just waiting for our doctor to come and endorse our patients.
I doctor came and endorsed me the patients. One of our patients is on hold and the other one is a new patient. I had to go to the new patient and treat his neck area. As soon as I reached his room, there was a student nurse inside. The patient wanted him to take his Blood pressure. He was taking a really long time fixing his stethoscope so I decided to take it myself. I then started with the treatment, I was just talking with him and he said that it started when he felt weakness in his body. He was feeling dizzy the whole treatment time and I can only do things mildly because he suffered from a mild stroke. After finishing this patient, I went down to our department and disinfected, charged, wrote the notes, and updated our doctor. I was just resting and waiting for our other doctor to do the rounds for our other new referral.
Lunchtime came and we ate lunch, suddenly one of my colleagues told me that our doctor was calling me, I was surprised because my colleague dad had a mild stroke, they had to rush him up using an ambulance coming from Zambales. I kinda felt bad for the dad because I remember meeting him last November. They let me stay at their place for 4 days. We were supposed to treat him, but our doctor said to go to him later in the afternoon so he could sleep.
While waiting, I was using the kalimba of my workmate. I was able to formulate the tabs of Can't Help Falling In Love by ear and it felt really good. A few hours have passed and my colleague said that his dad was still asleep, so I said to him that let him rest and treat him tomorrow.
I was chatting with my workmate who passed the Licensure Exam of Dubai also. We were planning already on what we should do. We had to let one of the agencies fix the remaining process of the DHA. We were thinking of getting the Apostille and then when to resign. I spoke to one of our colleagues who is already there in Dubai and he referred me to his travel agency. I was really shocked by what the agent was asking and he was asking what's my travel date. I still couldn't answer because I couldn't resign yet because we have a 1-month notice before resigning. I'm still in awe that everything is happening so fast. I was also shocked by the expenses. But I guess this would become an investment for the future.
Our doctor came, and it was around 3:45 already. Our usual cut-off is at 3:30 and endorsed to me the patient at around 4:10. I had to treat the patient. When I was hearing about the history of the patient, she was a battered wife wherein the husband hit heard head that caused a subdural hemorrhage. They brought him to the mental ward. I really felt bad for that patient. I had to don my PPE's and went to the 4th floor where she was located. When I saw her she was really thin, it's like she wasn't eating at home. She really looked neglected. She was a bit disoriented and deaf when I treated her. She was able to tolerate most of the exercises and then I went down. Disinfected and got ready to go home.
Before going home, I decided to visit the parents of my colleague in the hospital room and it was nice seeing them again after how many months. I really feel bad for the state of the dad, I was telling him to take care of himself already.
I drove going home and my colleague rode with me, it was raining really hard and thankfully it wasn't traffic. When I got home I just started snacking on everything that was available. After snacking I ate dinner, then used my computer. I really feel crappy that the market is red right now, but I'm thinking that this is a good buying opportunity. But I don't have extra fiat right now because I have to pay for my trip in the future. I then slept for a while and then my siblings were waking me up to play GTA V online. We were also able to play with my cousin who's in the states. It was a really fun gaming night. I slept early in the morning again.
I hope that you guys had a wonderful day!

Passing a Licensure Exam
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you how I started my week. These past few nights I've been playing with my cousin and siblings. We were playing GTA V. We didn't notice the time and it was already past 1 o clock am. Me and my sister had work and my cousin had class. I couldn't sleep so I slept at around 3 in the morning.
I woke up feeling really groggy but I had to motivate myself so I woke up and finished my blog then got ready for work. It was my morning bath that woke me up. I had to drive myself to work and I left the house at around 7:35 in the morning. I texted to inform our family friend that I was going to park at their place. When I got there, she was already waiting for me by the gate and she opened the gate for me, shooing the dogs away. I told her that my mom is going to be parking there the next day. I then walked to my workplace, passed through the triage, and timed in. I went then to our department and I was just there waiting for our doctors' endorsements.
Our doctor finally came and told me the updated management of our patient and told me about one of our patients before was being resuscitated. I was thinking that patient was strong. So I didn't mind. After getting the endorsements I was getting ready and fixing all the equipment needed to treat our patient. Climbed up the stairs to treat our patient. She was having low back pain last week but now her problem was her gouty arthritis. When I was looking at it, she could hardly move her right knee because of the pain. It was in a flexed position, I was trying to let her straighten it but she would guard it. I had to ice her knees. She claimed that she felt slight relief after the treatment.
She was our only patient. I went back to our department and I had to make more ice bags because the dietary said that we ran out already. After making some more, I brought it up to the dietary so they could freeze it in their freezer. Then I was just sitting. Suddenly our secretary told me one of the patients was for discharge. This was the patient who our doctor said that they were trying to resuscitate. I was wondering why his name popped out in the discharge notice so I asked someone, and that's when I confirmed that our patient died. It was really sad because he was still young, he was 40 years old only.
Later on, one of the doctors told me that one of our referrals also died last Sunday. I was in complete shock because of their deaths. They were both in their 40's. Last week 3 of our patients died also. This pandemic is not a joke, there are a lot of people who are dying since it started. I was in disbelief during the morning.
Our doctor asked me to treat his secretary because he said that he was still feeling pain in his neck area so I had to treat him. After treating him, I ate lunch and I was just talking to my girlfriend. My girlfriend had to drop by because she ordered something from one of my colleagues. I brought the order to her and she was so sweet and thoughtful to bring me this greek yogurt bar. It's one of my favorites. It was perfect because it was hot during the day.
Later on, I had to treat our patient again because our doctor told me to go back and ice her knees. After the treatment, I went back down and I was just resting. Then I got 2 new referrals. I prepared the chart of one of the referrals and I was waiting for the doctor, but he never came. Then it hit 5 pm
I immediately left our department to time out and then, I messaged my brother that I was on my way out. He wanted to meet with me so that he could give their gift for my grandpa for Father's Day. When I was driving outside of the gate, I noticed that there was a message from the agency that I used. I've been waiting for the result of my exam which I took last Tuesday. When I first saw it I was really hesitant in reading it and I drove going home.
When I was driving home, it was really traffic at the Rotondo of BGH. I had to stay there for around 20 minutes weaving my way through going out of this place. I finally reached our house and called my mom if she could the gifts to my grandpa because I didn't want to go because I just came right from the hospital. I also told her that I have my results and she told me to wait and pray before opening it. I then went downstairs to our place and disinfected. After disinfecting, I brought out my sax and started practicing. I really missed that routine because I used to do that every day before I was processing for the exam.
My mom came down and she told me to open it already, we opened it then it said that I passed the exam. I was really happy at that moment. My other colleague also who took it last Friday passed it. Thank God we passed it after all the reviewing while working. Now we are still thinking about what we should do.
I was then using my computer then we ate dinner. After dinner, I was just watching anime and then I was feeling sleepy, I noticed our internet was becoming slow and I can't handle the lag so I went to my bed and slept. That sleep felt so good but I woke up at around 12:30 am.
I hope that you guys had a wonderful day!

Father's Day 2021
**Celebrating Father's Day**
Before everything else, I want to greet all the fathers out there with a Happy Father's Day. May you all continue to be blessed!
Let me share with you how we celebrated Father's Day with our family. Whenever there's an event our grandpa loves having a small gathering so we had lunch at their household. My brother was the one who prepared the salad, my mom cooked the shrimps and the other items were bought. Before having lunch, I was busy watching the NBA game between the nets and the bucks. My mom told me to pick up the orders from a restaurant called Choobi Choobi. They ordered the Crispy Pata from there. It was just near our place so I decided to run it. As I was running, I already felt that my body isn't used to exercise. I got really tired so I had to walk, I got the orders from there, it was really a smart move that I brought an eco-bag because the orders came in 2 brown bags. I then walked back to our house and left it in our grandpa's household.
During lunchtime, we all gathered upstairs and celebrated Father's Day. My mom's other siblings who were not with us were in a video call. Before we started eating, my cousin said a prayer for the Fathers and blessed the Food. After that, they played a video for my grandfather where all his children were singing.
This was the food that we ate. There were 2 kinds of pansit, seafood and meat. They got meat because my grandma is allergic to seafood.
This was our main source of protein. Pata and shrimps. They both have sauces. My mom used the juices of the shrimp to make the sauce and most of them liked it. Both of these dishes were gone after our lunch.
We also had cake, it was a streamline cake. I'm not sure where they got it but I like these kinds of cakes because it isn't too sweet and it tastes delicious at the same time. The caramel and cream give it, its flavors. While eating this, we were discussing with my cousin regarding crypto. He was just new to it so I was teaching him some basics on how to use the exchange that he enrolled in.
It was really fun celebrating Father's Day. We got to bond and catch up with each other.
I hope that you guys also had a wonderful time celebrating Father's Day.
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

Happy Caturday featuring Pierre
**Good Day Guys**
Happy Caturday! If you guys don't know him he's our cat named Yoda. Every time I see him, he is mostly asleep or he's hungry. Having an indoor cat is really fun except for the parts when he would jump into places where there are things that could break. Those are the times when you get a mini heart attack and rush to the scene to intervene.
There came a time when he ran out of his favorite food and when his food arrived he ate a lot. After all the eating, I spotted him on top of one of my bins. He was there asleep like a baby, he looked like he was even smiling.
His mom lives outside, and she just recently gave birth to these two kittens. The color black kitten is an angry kitten it always hisses whenever we go near it and then eventually runs away. Here's a photo of it hissing at me. The other kitten just looked so funny here with its tongue sticking out. They usually stay in front of our house.
Day by day, Yoda is becoming clever. There are times when we catch him trying to open our screen door using his claws. Here's one time where Yoda was just by the door staring at his sibling. The siblings are really aggressive where they would hiss and tap the screen door. It was really funny watching the reaction of Yoda because he would run.
This is actually the dad of Yoda. I really like him, he is the first cat that I've ever seen who's really clingy. There was one time when I was staying outside of our house sitting on a chair, I felt that he was climbing my back and then he hopped on my lap and little by little he was falling asleep. I was just petting him the whole time. Then I had to get something so I placed him down. After getting that thing, I went back to the chair, and he hopped onto my lap again. I tried removing him but he would always go back to my lap. I really wish that Yoda will become like this. If only he wasn't used to the outdoors we would like to adopt him.
Here's Yoda's best friend. His name is Pierre. I just love their relationship because wherever Yoda goes, Pierre follows. Even when it's eating time. They would always play chasing each other around the house. But I usually catch them sleeping beside each other. Here's a photo of both of them sleeping on the bed of my sister.
I'm just glad that Pierre was really kind to Yoda, we thought that they would fight when we introduced them to each other but thankfully they didn't. Now they have a bond that's unbreakable. I also love being around them because they lower my stress level and it's really fun to pet them.

O Mai Khan- Baguio City
**O Mai KhanMongolian Grill & Hot Pot**
Let me share with you one of the places that I loved dining in when there was no pandemic. This restaurant right now only accepts Take out or delivery. If you want to order from them you could text/call the number 09175505885 or call them through landline (074)442-5885/ (074) 443 4147.
We walked inside this restaurant and before going inside, there's a mandatory COVID-19 Screening where we had to write our personal information on a piece of paper and Declare that we don't have any covid -19 like symptoms. They also had signs regarding Social Distancing, Sanitize our hands regularly, and No mask no entry. They had a bottle of sanitizer for sanitizing our hands and their menu.
I haven't gone there for a long time so when I saw their menu, I'm quite shocked that they removed some of their meals already.
As I entered, it gave me memories during those times when we used to dine in. I remember that when we were kids we used to watch the chef cook in the Mongolian Station where we would peek through that window. Here's their current setup. Since there is no dine-in the tables are just on one corner and they don't have barriers. The barriers are located near the Mongolian station.
We went there to order a cake for a celebration. We ordered the calamansi pie. If you guys don't know what calamansi is, it's also known as the Philippine Lime. We only got the Mini Cake which is 6 inches and it costs 550 Php or that's around 11.34 United States Dollar.
We didn't consume it the day that we bought it so we had to freeze it. Just look at how delicious it looks. For some reason when I was staring at it, I'm salivating haha.
Here's the cute slice of cake. I really love its taste. There was a balance between the citrus and the sweetness. To top it off, it was the perfect cake to eat because it was frozen and the day was really hot.

Back to Work
**Good Day Guys**
I'm coming back from a 5-day vacation and coming from an exam. At around 12 am, we were busy playing with my cousins and brother. After our online session. We tried experimenting with my brother. I bought GTA V to play online. I thought we could play together but I had to finish the prologue and the tutorial online. I didn't notice the time and I took really long. I slept at around 2:30 am already.
I woke up and I was still in denial that I have work already. Because I was sleep-deprived, my actions were really sluggish. I received a text message from one of my colleagues and she asked me if she could carpool with me going to work and I said yes. After that, I got ready for work and finished my blog before leaving the house.
On my way to work, I picked up my colleague. I was scared because I left the house later than usual and I thought we were going to be late, but the traffic was just smooth. When I was about to park, there were a lot of people lined up blocking that gate. My colleague opened the gate and the people moved so I was able to park the car. We then rushed to time in. We were on time when we timed in. After that, we walked to our department. And I was just talking with my other colleagues.
As I was waiting for the doctor's endorsements, I was also checking the charts of my patients. My colleague in the IPD is also taking her to leave so I'm alone during the treatment. The doctor came and endorsed all our patients to me. I only had 2 patients and one was about to go home.
I then got ready for work and I was really slow like thinking about what to do. My body and mind weren't ready for work again ahaha. I then got ready and fixed all the equipment needed and donned my PPE's. I climbed the stairs to the fourth floor which is something that I didn't miss, then went to the patient 1 room. This patient suffered from a Bell's Palsy, wherein half of her face is Non to Weak Functional. She has difficulty in smiling, closing her eyes, eating, and many more. I started treating her by using Infrared radiation to heat up her face and after that, The electrical stimulator stimulates her muscles to move again. I also taught her some Home exercises that she can do in front of the mirror.
After finishing patient 1, I headed to patient 2 and she is a stroke patient. When I got there, my other colleagues the Occupational Therapists were there feeding the patient. I was just observing them and fixing the electrodes while waiting. After they were done, it was my turn. I used the Electrical stimulator first on her weak muscles and then made her short sit. I'm glad that she was independent while sitting on the bed. I always liked patients who are like this, the patients who help themselves. She got tired after 8 minutes so I placed her back on her bed. We also did some exercises, her main problem is her right upper extremity because she couldn't move it, her right leg was also weak but she has a little strength to move it in some motions.
I then went down to our department, disinfected, did the notes, and charged. Before eating lunch I was just speaking with one of my colleagues about anime and basketball. I then ate lunch. After lunch, I had to look for a chart of one of our old patients. I'm kinda close with her, she was the one who gave me glasses for free. It was really nice seeing her.
It was my first time bringing my laptop to work and I tried using it, I thought I could be very productive with it but the problem was how slow the internet was. Though I had fun using it to surf and reply to some comments. I also helped with the linen by bringing up the soiled towels and getting new ones. After that, I continued surfing the internet and just waiting for it to hit 5 pm. I thought we were going to get swabbed but the people in the triage moved it to the next day in the morning.
The weather was also nice and it wasn't too hot. I then got home.
When I got home, I helped my cousin who couldn't install epicgames to get GTA V. I had to control his laptop and I used Anydesk. That app was really handy and we were able to solve the problem. After that, we played warzone. I really missed gaming so much after all the reviewing. We then ate dinner and we continued playing with my brother. It was a really fun day. I hope your day was also great!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

Le Cusina Den- Dedication & Birthday Celebration
**Le Cusina Den- A Dedication & Birthday Celebration of Matteo Luis and Aiesha Ellvia**
Le Cusina Den is located at the 2nd Floor TG Homebuilders, KM3 2600, Aspiras - Palispis Highway, Baguio City, Philippines. Another landmark of this place is that it's located in front of the Moldex Residences Baguio. Me, my girlfriend and colleagues were invited to this event by our former colleague. It was the birthday & Dedication Celebration of her children. This was our first time going to this place. There are 6 slots of parking inside the building but you're going to be blocking the first cars inside so if ever somebody has to go out they have to call all the other drivers. Parking on the street is kinda risky, I think there's a chance where the police would ticket you/. Though, my other colleagues had to park there.
Before, we started eating we had the Dedication in the reception area. This was where the pastor was preaching and telling us what it means to be dedicated. After that, we had to go in front as godfathers and godmothers of both children. The pastor let us sign something which stated that we were their godfathers and godmothers of them and it also said where the event took place.
After the dedication comes the eating part. If you look at the first photo, that was the setup for the food. Most of the food was placed on catering warmers. There were different kinds of food, from chicken, spaghetti with meatballs, palabok, Pork BBQ, Shanghai Lumpia(One of the Favorite Party dishes of us, Filipinos), Fresh lumpia and Pizza.
On the far right side, there was the dessert table and the photo booth. The photo booth had slightly wet paint, when they took our photos, they were telling me to avoid the red paint. The dessert table had brownies, cakes, and cupcakes(The cupcakes were made by our colleague, their mother).
This was the food that I got, their food was good but wasn't too great. I wasn't able to try their specialty which was the fresh lumpia, but our colleague beside me said that it was delicious and said that they should have served this at the start of the line instead of the last.
One thing that I loved about this place was the view, you can see so many trees compared to houses. It really had a relaxing view.
The place had a Japanese theme, but they were serving Filipino food. I was wondering if they served Japanese food also. In the photo below, that's where we stayed. It was kinda hot inside because we were beside the kitchen and there barely any ventilation. But it was a really fun time because we got to catch up with our other colleagues. And now we have to become responsible godparents to our godchild.

Finally it's Shining!
**Good Day Guys!**
Before everything else, I just want to ask how are you all doing? I hope that you are all doing great in life! Yesterday, I just took an exam, and I'm just waiting for the results. The anxiety is already kicking in, regarding the status.
I was really when I went shadow hunting because it started shining because these past few days the mornings were gloomy. I went outside and spotted the family of cats near our house. My brother was feeding them. I'm quite shocked that they all stay together, even the dad is with them. The one with the gray and white coat is Fracture and he's the dad and the White and Black one is Shaka. Just look at their offsprings. The one behind Fracture just looks like an exact carbon copy. You can also see the shadows of the plant that's giving them a little shade.
I then went up to the garden of my grandma and walked to the grotto, on my way there, I spotted a shadow that really looked unique. If would describe it, it looks like a grenade blast haha.
This is the grotto, and this has been there ever since my grandparents built this house. Sometimes we go there to pray.
From up there, you could spot different kinds of shadows coming from the plants and trees that are located there.
If you are curious what made that grenade blast-looking shadow it was that pointy plant. I was also shocked that we had 3 bunches of bananas growing on the trees. I can't wait for them to ripen and taste them.
As I continued walking, I spotted the Dragon Fruit Plant. If you look closely the flower buds are starting to grow. It already produced fruits before but I never tasted it, so I'm also excited to taste these.
I also took a random photo of this flower. I'm not sure what they are called but it looked really pretty to look at.
As I was walking back to my place, I was looking at the kittens. They are at the stage where they are really afraid of humans wherein they would hiss at you and run away if you try to go near them. I spotted one under the shade of the plants. He must really feel protected there and it must be really cool.
Later that day, I received a package from an online shop. I had to order food for our cat named Yoda because he had no food already.
It was really funny because as soon as I put it down, he was the first one to go to that package.
I think he really missed eating these kinds of food. So we opened it and fed him. He actually finished the bowl really fast which is unusual because he usually leaves food for our dog named Pierre. It was really a fun day of shadow hunting. I was finally able to achieve it after looking for the sun. To whoever is reading this I hope that you are all doing great!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

A Quick Update on my Ant Colony
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you a quick update regarding my pet ants. I was checking my formicarium and this is what I saw, there are a bunch of larvae and eggs inside this formicarium. As you look closely some are already turning brownish and they are ready to become ants. Just watching their life cycle is really amazing. They start with the queen laying an egg, and then the nurse that egg until they become ants.
I've been watching the youtube channel of AntsCanada and he gave me an idea of putting jelly ace inside their enclosure. I found the jelly ace inside our ref and I was really curious if they would eat it or not. I was just observing them, they seemed that they didn't like it because it's a different story when I put a test tube full of sugar water, they all rush and drink from it.
After a few hours, I looked at the jelly ace cup, and they added so much dirt on top of it. But at the same time, if you look closely they are slowly consuming it. I also fed them an adult Male Dubia. I usually rip its head off before feeding it to them. Feeding time is really fun, that's when you get to see them swarm their prey
If you see the photo below, you can see the majors ants/ soldier ants. They are the ones with the big head. I'm actually having fun keeping these ants, I just love what they are doing.
It's really cool to spot them building tunnels and defending them. There's one thing that I want to see though, it's the queen. I wonder where is it staying. I tried looking closely inside the blue thing where all the brood is but I couldn't spot her. She's still alive because there are a lot of new eggs. I hope that you guys can try this hobby one day.

Tapa King
Let me share with you one of the fast-food chains that we went to with my girlfriend when we had to attend a seminar. This was before the pandemic happened. I have always seen this place before but I never tried it. Tapa is a Filipino dish made of thinly-sliced beef which is marinated to infuse flavor.
This branch is located at Unit 3, Ground floor, Avida Towers Intima, President, corner, Quirino Ave Ext, Paco, Manila, Metro Manila
This was the menu during that time, I took a photo of their flyer because it was more complete. The one being shown on the screen was switching. They had a variety of food, from Breakfast All Day, Chicken meals, Filipino Dishes, Merienda, Rice bowls, and Dessert. The place was really clean and it looked really cool with all the red chairs.
As you already expected, We tried their tapa. I ordered their Tapa King which is the original flavor of the tapa. The meal came with garlic rice, egg, tapa, and a side dish of atchara. I really found their tapa good. It was well marinated and flavorful. The atchara also enhanced its taste.
We also ordered a side dish of garlic Kang kong so we had some vegetables during our dinner. As I remembered, this dish was a bit salty.
For dessert I ordered Taho. Taho is made of fresh soft/silken tofu, arnibal (sweetened), and sago pearls. But their dessert had no sago. Though I loved the taste of it, the tofu was really silky and the arnibal made it taste a lot better.
Our experience here was great, they had good food for a reasonable price. The staff here were really kind and I noticed that you'll see their logo everywhere you go inside the restaurant.

Feeling the Pressure of an Exam
**Good Day Guys**
I slept at around 1:30 am because of reviewing for an exam. As soon as I woke up, I still felt sleepy but I finished writing my blog and got ready for work. One of my colleagues texted me if she can carpool going to work and I said yes. I left at around 7:35, picked up my colleague. I'm really thankful that it wasn't traffic. I got to park the car at around 7:53 and walked to work. I passed through the triage and timed in.
After timing in, I felt something prick my foot, so I was walking down the stairs to go to our department. And while walking, I was trying avoiding to put pressure on that area of the foot where I felt it. As soon as I got to our department, I check if there was something on my shoe but there was nothing. I tried putting a little pressure in that area and I felt a stabbing pain so I went to our pantry removed my sock, and found the culprit. There was a little blood that came out when I removed it.
While I was waiting for our doctor, I was just reviewing. Our doctor finally came and endorsed all our patients. I asked if I could take a leave on the 14th and 15th and she said yes. As soon as she said yes, I messaged the agency if the available date of the exam on the 15th is still available and they said that they would contact their booking team.
I started getting ready and fixing all the equipment needed for the patients. I had to bring an HMP, walker, BP apparatus, and an electrical stimulator with me. I was alone during the treatment because it was my colleague's day off. I donned my PPE and went up.
I went to patient 1 and her management was easy because she just needed the hot pack. I was also helping her mobilize herself. It's really difficult to talk to that patient because she is deaf. While she was on her hot pack, I was just using my phone reviewing and checking on her from time to time. After she was finished, I went to the next patient who was on the other side of the building.
This patient was still in the ICU when I treat him. He's our patient who is around 20-25 who suffered from a stroke. As I entered his room, I noticed that he was using his laptop. We set that aside for his therapy. I took his Vital Signs and then transferred him to a chair. After transferring him to a chair, he felt a little dizzy so I was letting him get used to that position so I started with the electrical stimulation for 10 minutes. While I was doing that, one of the resident doctors was asking me regarding his recovery. I had to explain that there's something that they called the golden period which is usually 6 months. Their progression after that will become slower. I was also telling my patient to help himself so he could get better. I was thinking to myself that he must be really depressed because he couldn't completely move his left arm and he has weakness on his left lower extremities. During the treatment, I was also able to make him stand when using a walker. We were also doing some weight shifting exercises, I tried to let him march in place but he was still weak so he sat down on that attempt. I'm glad that I was able to make him stand for at least 5 minutes.
I received a message that they already booked my exam which will be on June 15, 2021, and I'm actually feeling the pressure. I was even having brain fog, I asked my other colleagues where one of the patients was. And he was in the other ICU. I went to the ICU and started treating the patient. I was surprised that Father President suddenly popped out of nowhere and he was saying that our patient was related to him. I continued treating him. Mobilizing him was really difficult because I was by myself. I was able to make him short sit for 5 minutes.
After treatment, I went down and filed my vacation leave so that our doctor could sign it. I charged did my notes and disinfected myself and the equipment. My colleagues decided to cook soup for lunch. Then one of our past colleagues went to our department with her baby. She was there because her baby had a checkup. It was really fun talking to her and watching the baby make a mess.
After lunch, I confirmed with one of our doctors if we would treat his patient. He said that he would do the rounds first. So while waiting I was just reviewing. He came at around 4:30 already and endorsed the patient to me for the treatment the next day.
I then went home. I gave this creamy chicken evaporada to my mom. It actually came from our workplace. I don't know why they gave it.
My mom also cooked spaghetti and hotdogs for dinner, to celebrate the birthday of one of our dogs who already left us. We then ate dinner and after dinner, I was already looking for a place to book for my exam.
I hope that you guys had a great day!

Reflection Hunting while Renewing my PRC Identification
**Good Day Guys!**
Today, I was supposed to go shadow hunting but during the morning there was no sun. So instead of shadow hunting, I was thinking of what to do.
During this day, I had to go to our Professional Regulations Commission to renew my professional license. It is located at Pine Lake View Building. It was drizzling the time that I went there. When I took this photo I thought of something to do and go reflection hunting while I was processing. Before entering the building, there's a person who would check if you have an appointment during that day. He checked it and gave me a Health Declaration form. After filling it up, he told me to go to the 5th floor,
I had to go inside the regulation Division. Before entering, I had to sign up my name and state my purpose of going there. After that, someone called me to go to them. I went to her and gave her my form. She was looking for my name on their database. In this division, this is where the screen you if you have enough Continuing Professional Development Units to renew. I think my profession requires 15 now.
3 years ago I had to renew my license for the first time and the law back then was different, wherein they required 50 CPD. I was only able to give them 35 CPD units and I even owed them.
But thankfully today, the person spoke to me and wondered why did I owe them. The law changed recently, wherein the first renewal we don't need any CPD and they also lowered how many CPD we need per renewal. I'm really happy that they carried over my other CPD units to this renewal so I didn't owe them any. I wasn't able to submit my other training because I only had a photocopy, they were asking for the original certificate. She said that I can always go back there and give it to them. One of my certificates is 17.5 CPD so I wouldn't like to waste it. The person also told me something about getting CPD from serving under COVID-19. After everything, she sent me downstairs to window 8.
I went to Window 8, and I had a problem with my photo. The person there said that I can't use the same photo. There was a photo booth upstairs so she sent me there. I had to take off my mask, face shield, and glasses when they took my photo, I wasn't even ready for this so I looked crappy haha. I had to pay 30 Php for the photo.
I then went back to counter 8 and gave my renewal form. She told me to wait while they process the ID. So I was just taking photos inside. I was looking at the reflection that the barriers are making. Can you spot counter 6?
I was looking for more reflections and I saw the reflection of the roof through the windows.
They called my name at counter 10 and gave me my ID. I had to sign a document and put my signature at the back of my ID. I was so surprised that everything went smoothly. There were only a few people who were processing. Social distancing was observed and everybody was following protocols. I even noticed that the PRC speaker has a timer wherein it reminds the employees to disinfect their desks.
I went outside and went to the park across it, I thought that I would get a nice reflection from the water of the pond but it was murky and there was so much stuff floating in it.
I had to go to the bank to withdraw some cash for my laptop. I was really amused with this window it looked unending. If you look in the photo closely, it looked like a reflection in a reflection. I think that this was my favorite photo
I thought that my face shield would produce a nice reflection of something but I think my attempt failed. You just can see the stairs of the building. I still have a lot to learn regarding reflections.
But let me end my post with one of the reflections that I truly miss seeing. The reflection of the sunset on the beach. I hope that I will be able to visit the beach soon. This was taken at San Fernando, La Union. Hope that you guys had a wonderful day!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

A Crappy Way to End the Day
**Good Day Guys**
Let me share with you about my day, I slept earlier than usual because I felt really tired and drank a little alcohol. When I woke up, I finished writing my blog and got ready for work. Before going to work, I had to pass by for my colleague who lives near us so she should carpool. I thought that it would be traffic while driving to work but it was the opposite, my drive was really smooth and I was really thankful for it. When I got to the place where I was going to park, my colleague was kind enough to open the gate for me, it's also difficult to open the gate because they own a dog who's really hyper and he's really excited when he sees people. You have to shoo him away so I could park. Walking to work I was just taking my time because it's kinda early. I passed through the triage and timed in. We then went to our department.
We were just talking with my other colleagues while we are waiting for our doctor and the response of the other doctors before treating. Finally, our doctor arrived and endorsed our patients to us. We have a new patient again. We then got ready and prepared all our equipment and donned our PPE's before going upstairs. It's really stupid that the elevator is broken again. We had to climb 8 flights of stairs just to go to where our patients are. We went to patient one who was at the annex, when we entered the room, I was wondering why she had an ECG monitor. Instead of treating her we just walked out and said that we'll treat her last just in case.
We went to patient 2, who was located at the other building. This patient is kinda strong and he's kind at the same time. He's a stroke patient. We brought the quad cane with us, for his ambulation. But as we entered his room, we noticed that he already had a single tip cane, so we just adjusted the height so it would be more comfortable for him to use while walking. Before his treatment, we got his Vital signs and it was normal. We made him walk around. At first, he was really anxious because whenever he would see a wall he would try to hold on to it and use it as a guide, so we were training him to walk independently. We went to the hallway to practice walking, we were able to reach the broken elevator before going back to his room. We noticed that he would lose his balance whenever he tries to walk fast so we were there to remind him to walk slowly so he wouldn't fall. After the treatment, he was really thankful.
We went to patient 3 to teach him his Home exercise program. This patient is our strongest stroke patient where he's really functional, but his only problem is his Blood Pressure, wherein it would reach the range of 180-200 mmHg. After that, we went to the patients in the ICU.
I really feel bad for our patient, let's call him patient 4. His age is between 20-25 years old and he suffered from a stroke. I can't imagine what he's going through right now, he really looked so depressed. His right extremities are weak. He couldn't move his arm and his right leg was weak. We spoke with him and he said that he thinks he got it from sleeping late every day. We treated our patient, we were able to make him short sit on his bed for the first time. He could sit independently only for a few minutes but he would lean backward towards his weak side. I hope that he will be able to get well soon.
We when to patient 5, he's our new patient and he also suffered from a stroke. When we saw him, he really had a huge black eye. Our doctor told us that when it happened he hit his eye. When we were treating him, he wasn't saying anything. He would just nod when we asked if he's doing okay. We were only able to make him Long sit for 10 minutes. We also noticed that he had a problem with his hygiene. While I was exercising his hand. It smelt really bad, I wanted to wipe it but he had no alcohol or tissue.
After treatment, we went back to patient 1 but before treating her, we went to the nurses' station looking for her chart. The head nurse was kind enough to tell us that they are closely monitoring her and that she was going to get intubated. That sounded so sad. Instead of going to her, we just went to patient 6. This patient is a really deaf patient, but her management was easy. While my colleague was fixing the brace, I ran down to get the hot packs. Then went back up. We then treated her. After the treatment, we went down disinfected, charged wrote our notes, and updated the doctors.
It was lunchtime already, the colleague who usually rides with me was so kind that she bought me a Fruit Tea drink. I really enjoyed it.
After lunch, we were just talking. I also updated one of our doctors who had a check-up ongoing. After that, I was just refiling some of the equipment that we needed. Finally, it was 5 o clock and we left our workplace, It was really raining hard that time. I concluded that it was the rainy season already.
When I got home, I disinfected and played with my sax for a while. I brought out my laptop which I just got last June 3 and brought it to our sala. I was just using that there and trying to fix some stuff. When dinner time came, I just left it opened there, thinking that nothing would happen. I went back to my room and my brother was calling me, he told me to look at our cat lying on my laptop, I had to shoo him away and when I removed him from it, I noticed that the f2 key was gone. I immediately looked for it, I was thinking that it got yanked off by the cat until my brother saw that it was mauled down, I think that our dog did this. I really felt so bad and depressed because I still haven't had this for a whole week and this is what happened. I was just looking for a replacement keycap and I found a shop that sells it for 9.99 USD and I got it, the total amount was 17 USD with shipping. I learned my lesson and never again shall I do that.
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

My Moms Surprise 60th Birthday Celebration
**Good day Guys!**
We celebrated the birthday of my mom today. She just turned into a senior citizen. Before everything else, we went to mass in the morning to celebrate her gift of life.
We had a surprise celebration yesterday. It was my sister who was the mastermind of it, we wanted to make this celebration very special and memorable. She was the one who prepared the decorations, ordered the food, and compiled all the video greetings. I had work that time so I just had to pick up the balloons and cake. My aunt was kind enough to bring her out just to distract her so my siblings and cousins could decorate upstairs.
Before everything, we made her really feel bad. She thought that my brother wouldn't come, she also thought that it would just be a simple celebration because we told her that we are going to buy the usual food that we get whenever we celebrate birthdays.
As soon as she entered the house, she was shocked and she even cried. This moment really touched my heart, my mom has been really hardworking just to bring us all up. She has been really supportive of all our decisions and she is our prayer warrior. She's the eldest of my grandpa.
Before we ate, my brother led the prayer, we sang her a birthday song and then, my grandpa gave a speech. And my grandpa is really proud that he was able to raise my mother right. He said to all of us that if ever we have kids we should raise our First one Right to be an example to the others.
Just look at how pretty was the cake. you can also see how detailed the flowers are. This was one item that delayed us from going to the house earlier. We had to wait until 6 pm before it was finished. The outcome looked really great. This was from JoHec's Cakes and Cupcakes, my sister knows the owner.
We also got food from Naimas Catering. We had Fresh Lumpia, Beef Salpicao, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Fish Tausi, Shrimp, and Lechon Kawali. We let my mom buy pansit from Bruno's. The food was great and I actually enjoyed eating. The cake was a banana cake and I loved it because it wasn't too sweet.
We then lighted her cake and sang another Birthday Song. While we were eating, they were playing videos of all the people who greeted her. It actually took more than an hour. We were also video chatting with my aunts and uncle who are from far away places.
We also tried this balloon thing as a gift for my mom. When you open the ribbon, the balloon would fly up with all the cash attached to it. The last thing that we put there is her SSS form, We sponsored it. If you were curious where some of my blogging money went, it's here.
Happy Birthday, Mom! Thank you so much for all your sacrifices! We are really blessed to have a loving Mother who always makes our life really happier. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!

Bruno's Restaurant
**Bruno's Restaurant- Camp 7 Baguio City Philippines**
There was a time where we all went out so we didn't have dinner. My mom had to buy vegetables at the satellite market at Camp 7. There's one restaurant that's near it and it's called Bruno's restaurant. It is located at 231, MMC Centerpoint, Kennon Rd, Purok 4, Lower East, Camp 7, Baguio, 2600 Benguet. We decided to get food from here. Before entering the restaurant you have to log in your personal details for contact tracing purposes.
The Menu
This is their menu, they have different varieties of food, they serve seafood, pork, chicken, vegetables, beef, pancit, combo meals, pasta, dessert, and beverages.
Price
The prices of this restaurant are average, but some of the meals are really worth it because of the serving that they give and the quality of the food.
**Food**
We didn't eat in the restaurant because my mom doesn't like dining in due to the pandemic. So we ordered different kinds of viands for our dinner though, the main ingredient was pork. We actually missed eating pork because the prices of it are skyrocketing.
This is one thing that we love about this restaurant and it's there Lechon Bagnet. Through the years, they were able to perfect cooking it. It's the favorite dish of my family, whenever we go here most of the time they order this food. One thing that I love about it is the crunch that it gives as soon as you bite it.
We are also trying the other food that they serve. We got their pork liempo. It tastes really unique because of the sauce that they put. This meal was mildly spicy. But one thing that I loved about it was the flavor. I don't know what they mixed on it but the taste was really addicting.
Here's the perfect combination for both meals, pork chopsuey. Chop Suey is a stir-fried vegetable dish that has a special sauce on it. We had to add something colorful to balance the meals haha. The best part of ordering chopsuey from here is that the vegetables are guaranteed fresh.
I truly enjoyed my meal from here. The meals that we ordered were really worth it because of their quality. One thing that I also like about this restaurant is their pancit. If you want to try local cuisine, I recommend eating here. You can also order food from Food Panda.
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!
