My Daily Life#02(01-19-2021)- Celebrating Our Colleagues Birthday **Good day guys!**
Last January 19, 2021. I went to work earlier than usual because there are times where there are no parking spaces. for some reason, the University hasn't taken down its Christmas tree.
This is the Main University Campus, if they haven't changed the name of this building yet when I was a student we used to call it Diego Silang.
The clouds were thick early in the morning so the sun wasn't shining as much.
This is the main reason why we ran out of parking spaces in the University lately. They finally opened another entrance in the basement. We finally don't need to climb and go around all those stairs just to enter the building.
As you enter, this is the setup. You have to scan the QR code and place all your personal information, temperature and you also have to declare if you are feeling any symptoms related to covid 19
I have to climb 6 flights of stairs just to time in. But it's less tiring compared to the other route.
One of our colleagues who recently got infected by COVID-19 finally came in. He has recovered already and we were just catching up. This is what usually happens during our workdays before we start treating patients we usually wait for the endorsements of our doctors. Me and my colleague waited til around 9:30. When we went up we treated one patient, we tried treating the other 2 but one was still feeding and the other one wanted to move the session during the afternoon. We went to our office first and waited till 10:30 before we treated the patient who was feeding. We were able to treat him.
We were going down using the elevator and my chief surprises my colleague with a bouquet of flowers. It just felt so weird with the timing and that we were still using our PPE's. My colleague whose birthday was on the next few days decided to celebrate it today because it's her off during her birthday.
We surprised her with a strawberry shortcake from Vizcos. She fed us Spaghetti from Solibao, Different flavored chicken wings from Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
She also got Pad Thai and spring rolls from Som Tam and Pork Humba.
We started eating lunch late because some of the orders came in late. But I enjoyed eating. I was cut off because I had a patient that arrived at 1:15 pm. I had to treat her because it was her last session before her check-up. After treating her she had her checkup with our doctor and she was finally discharged. After treatment, I ate a slice of cake. We had to go back up one more time to treat our patient who requested to be treated during the afternoon. It was really fulfilling because we were able to make our patient walk forward for 4 steps. We were only able to go that far because she gets tired easily.
We then reported to our doctors and updated them on what we were able to do, disinfect our equipment, wash our PPE's and write our notes. We then waited till 5 pm
I was really happy driving home because it wasn't too traffic. I was really surprised driving during that day. I got home, took a bath, ate dinner, and continued using my computer. This day was really fun!
