God's Love

1 16

Love is a verb. It is more than just a feeling. Love is actually doing things for one another, showing kindness and being patient in the midst of trials and challenges.

God's love is something that can be counted on, counted upon now and forever. No matter what happens or what you do, God's love for you is certain, sure and unconditional. You can't lose it. You can't turn it off. The love of God is there for you no matter where you go or what you do with your life, His love will pursue you.

The love of God is just like the sun; it shines on everyone and everything without discrimination. The love of God will remain the same whether you are weak or strong. It will intensify as you grow weaker and weaker. And, it will never leave you or forsake you.

The love of God is like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, but it is more than just a light. It's a light that illuminates and gives hope to those who find themselves lost in the darkness.

The love of God is the energy source that provides strength to push forward during trying times in life when circumstances appear to be out of your control. The love of God will give you the courage to overcome whatever obstacles lie ahead in your life and achieve your dreams.

God's love is sure, certain and can be relied upon now and forever. It is not dependent upon what we can do for Him or what He can do for us. It is dependent only upon who He is and who we are in Him. Better still, God loves us even when we do not love Him back.

A sure and certain love does not give up on us as unworthy or ungrateful, but keeps on giving to us, even when we think we are too far gone for God to ever love us again. For example, we would never abandon a child simply because she was unable to repay our love and concern in the form of good behavior or material favors. We would never give up on a child or a friend simply because they were helpless or hopeless. Still, many people have tried to explain God's love in terms of human behavior, and according to that kind of reasoning, God's love should be at least as limited as ours.

God's love - The love God has for us is unending and unconditional. It is His love that saved the whole world from sin, death and eternal condemnation. The love of God is sure, certain and can be rely upon now and forever.

God showed His great, unconditional love for us by sending His one and only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. He sent His Son to die in our place. All we have to do is believe on Christ's sacrifice as payment for our sins, repent and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God will cleanse us from all our sin and grant us eternal life. God will provide everything we need to live a happy and fulfilling life on this earth and to receive an eternal reward when we leave It.

God's love is sure.

There is no more sure love than the love God has for His people.

When David was in trouble he said, "How can you be so sure?"

He asked that question to God.

God's love is certain because it is based on a covenant God made with His people thousands of years ago. In the book of Nehemiah the people were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah had been a captive in Babylon for many years and after he heard that Jerusalem was in trouble, he set out to serve his fellow countrymen.

God gave this promise to Nehemiah and all those serving in Jerusalem:

"Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast crowd. For the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go." (Nehemiah 4:10).

The same promise comes to us today for those who follow Jesus Christ. For we are God's children and although we may face challenges, He will always be with us.

When we stand before Him on judgment day we can have great confidence in knowing that we are going to heaven because Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).

God's love is consistent.

God's love is not fickle; it doesn't change with circumstances or emotions, it doesn't require popularity or special merit. The love of God is consistent; it's pure, constant and never ending.

The love of God is sure and certain, and makes us confident that we can rely on Him now and forever.

God's desire is to have a personal relationship with us but we fall short in understanding what it means to fully submit our lives to Him. We are sinners who need a Savior, which God provided by sending His Son Jesus Christ, so that we can find true meaning and purpose for living. Jesus Christ became the living, perfect sacrifice for our sins, so that any person who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Thanks

The greatest gift in life is love, without love there's no revival and there's no unity, God love is certainly sure.
