Reasons Why You Should Visit Boracay in the Philippines
Tourists are omitting Boracay, a lovely island in the Philippines, from their upcoming vacation plans. People tell tourists it is overcrowded, nasty and polluted. It's a gorgeous island, and I think it should be included in 2021 after its closure a few years ago, when it's a lot more accessible.
You can enjoy some of the top hotels and nightlife on the island, as well as superb watersports and an abundance of food options in beautiful Boracay.
It's a full-fledged vacation island. If you're searching for a summer vacation like touring Europe, Boracay is the place to go. Everyone will enjoy it. Boracay has a wide variety of day tours and activities for families and groups of friends to choose from. Even for couples, Boracay has a plethora of romantic activities to choose from.
Boracay will fail you if your goal is to relax in the quiet and reconnect with nature on a trip back to the fundamentals. You can still include Boracay in your Philippines itinerary if you wish to vacation in a place where Filipinos and tourists from around the world vacation.
You shouldn't discount Boracay because of its history. Even El Nido in Palawan, Panglao in Bohol, and Oslob in Cebu are dealing with insufficient infrastructure and terrible environmental practices. Boracay's troubles aren't unique to the island, and the rapid growth of tourism in the Philippines is putting a burden on many islands.
You can tell from the aerial view of Boracay that the beaches are the cleanest they've been in more than a decade. A beautiful beach experience awaits you at White Beach, which is quiet, safe, and spotless.
Boracay has everything I love about it, from the kitesurfing to the beach vibe. To compare Boracay's abundance of wonderful restaurants, bars, and hotels with the calmer islands' gorgeous but somewhat more limited offerings is one of my favorite contrasts.
1) Boracay's Beautiful Beaches
Boracay's picture-perfect beaches are a must-see.
TripAdvisor has selected White Beach as one of the world's top 25 beaches, and it's a must-see for every traveler. Beautiful beach, even if it's packed with beach bars and hotels, spans for 4 kilometers around island, so there is no shortage of peaceful spots. Isn't the sand so white that it's breathtaking?
Puka Beach, popularly known as Shell Beach, is a rustic and charming option in Boracay, as is kitesurfing-friendly Bulabog Beach.
Located just a short distance from White Beach by an undercliff path, Diniwid Beach has a laid-back ambiance.
In addition to the exclusive beaches that can only be accessed through the hotels, there are a number of additional beaches that are well worth the effort. Punta Bunga Beach and Banyugan Beach are two of the most popular beaches in the area, which can be accessed either through the Shangri-La or the Mövenpick hotels.
2) Boracay Kitesurfing
It's no wonder that Boracay is a popular destination for kitesurfers and windsurfers from throughout the world. The weather is ideal; the sea is warm and clear, and the wind is steady. Bulabog, a beach on the other side of the island, is ideal for this (and just a 5 min walk from White Beach). Kitesurfing courses and laid-back hotels and cottages along the shoreline. 3. The nightlife area
Boracay has a beach bar for everyone, from the laid-back to the raucous. Drinking alcohol on the beach and in the city's streets has been outlawed since the city's closure in 2018.
Cocktails on a bean bag with your toes in the sand, on the other hand, still have that beach vibe. Don't let the fact that the iconic party pub crawl still exists deter you from participating.
A Thai Full Moon party vibe is taking over the nightlife even on the most "secluded" and "tranquil" of the islands. The nightlife in Boracay isn't as wild as it used to be, so don't let that scare you away from the island.
4) The sunsets
Boracay is known for its spectacular sunsets. On White Beach, in particular. Somehow, while sipping an evening cocktail, I was able to witness breathtaking sunsets night after night.
As the sun sets, it's a magnificent sight to watch all of the Filipino sailing boats out on the ocean together. Amazing to see!
Get there early or reserve a table in advance to avoid the crowds at some seaside bars at sunset.
5) Boracay's food scene is a foodie's paradise.
6. After Manila and Cebu, Boracay has the widest selection of gastronomic destinations in the Philippines. In spite of the fact that it is more difficult to locate local food stalls and markets, Boracay is the ideal location to sample a wide range of excellent restaurants and cafés.
Many hotels along White Beach set out their tables on the sand at dusk. Makes a memorable lunch when paired with twinkling lights and a sound of the ocean. It is our pleasure to suggest the Ambassador Hotel on White Beach for its amazing staff and delicious cuisine.
6) The Boracay day tours and excursions
On Boracay, there are a plethora of fantastic daytrips and excursions to choose from. Maniguin, Carabao, and Panay all offer excellent scuba diving opportunities, as do Ariel's Point's cliff dives.
Some of the top day trips from Boracay can be found on this page:.
With snorkeling, island hopping, sunset cruise, cliff jumping, and solo or tandem parasailing, you'll have a memorable vacation.
7) Getting to know Filipinos
Even though Boracay is a renowned tourist destination for visitors from Europe and the United States, it is also a favorite destination for Filipinos. It's a great chance to meet Filipinos who are also on vacation - and who are always up for some fun!
Come visit and have FUN!
