Amd market share: the highest in 14 years
With the full release of zen2 processor, AMD's market share is increasing. According to passmark, a survey data agency, AMD's PC processor market share has reached 37.5%, the highest level in the past 14 years.
Since the second quarter of 2006, AMD's market share has been declining until 2016.
In the DIY desktop field, AMD's market share has reached 48%, almost equal to Intel. Among them, the biggest credit is the sharp dragon 3000 series processor released last year. For Intel Core Processor, it has stronger multi-core performance and lower price, which is very popular with PC players.
In the notebook market, AMD's market share has increased a lot with the release of the zen2 based sharp dragon 4000 series mobile processor, but there is still a big gap compared with Intel.
It is worth mentioning that although the processor of zen2 architecture and the Xiaolong of server level were first released, amd has almost no share in the server market. This shows that we pay more attention to stable server devices, but we still have a big bias towards amd Xiaolong processor.
