It started off as a strange dream for Prince Roy.
It had started only enough , with him dreaming of getting tea together with his beloved Jessica Scott- the lady with wine-red eyes smiling and laughing as he proposed to her amidst his kingdom’s most beautiful flowers. Everything felt right to him at that moment, how things were alleged to be- just him and his beloved Jessica, together eventually . No got to worry about the opposite Princes fighting over her, for he had won her heart, he was certain of it!
However, before he could get a solution , he suddenly found himself during a hallway of blue glass suspended during a black void.
“Where am I?” he asked, but got no answer as he realized he was on their lonesome but that didn't stop him from calling bent the foremost important people in his life, “Jessica? Grayson? Sherry? Where is everyone?”
All he could do, when no answer came was walk down the hallway, hoping to seek out answers as his footsteps echoed on the glass, his reflection repeating endlessly on the walls also . As he moved, his footsteps felt heavy and sluggish though he was sure he was running at full speed, and his vision grew fuzzy in places also as he tried to stay getting into his dream.
That is when he saw the shadows before them, he couldn’t figure out a word that they were saying, but he could tell they were panicking as they tried to seem for answers about what was happening .
Then, one among the shadows disappeared, followed by a buzzing sound. the opposite shadows were still for a flash before one that seemed like a woman fell to her knees and commenced to exclaim a reputation he didn’t recognize or figure out . As Roy moved closer to the shadows, more and more of them vanished thereupon infernal buzzing until he was at where that they had stood, with only the crying shadow remaining.
“S…sorry. So… sorry. I… damn book!” was all he could figure out , before the crying girl also vanished, leaving Roy on their lonesome .
“A book?” he said to himself in confusion, before he began to hear that buzzing again. Then, he felt like his body was being slowly torn apart. He never experienced pain like this before and wanted to awaken . He tried to awaken but he found he couldn’t. All he could feel was pain because the buzzing around him grew louder and louder.
“Stop!” he heard a woman exclaim before the buzzing did as she commanded. The voice was small and quiet, but as he crumpled to the ground , letting the pain subside he soon searched to ascertain a pair of azure eyes staring back at him, though he could see nothing else as everything went dark.
The dream had ended, and Roy found himself lying in his bed again, his heart racing as his body was covered during a dull ache.
What was that dream? He thought to himself as he slowly sat up and looked out the window of his room. Upon seeing the red moon of Saligia still outside surrounded by stars, he realized that it had been still late in the dark when Grayson entered the space .
“Master Roy, is everything alright?” the graying haired valet then asked, “I heard screaming.”
“Nothing, it had been just a nightmare,” Roy said as he recalled how vividly his pain was in his sleep, “A very realistic one to be honest.”
“I see,” Grayson said with a nod while doing his best to stay things professional between him and his charge, “Well, since it had been only a nightmare, perhaps it's nothing to stress about.”
“I certainly hope so,” Roy said as he laid backtrack and closed his eyes, feeling that enough time had passed to securely fall back asleep.
His dreams were peaceful the remainder of the night, and he never saw the strange glass hallway and therefore the azure eyes again that night.
