"Envision the individuals who accept such things and who are not afraid to overlook, absolutely, all the patient discoveries of thoroughly considering minds all the hundreds of years since the Bible was composed. Furthermore, it is these oblivious individuals, the most uneducated, the most bland, the most foolish among us, who might make themselves the aides and pioneers of every one of us; who might compel their weak and adolescent convictions on us; who might attack our schools and libraries and homes.
