After confiscating a quantity of Bitcoin and Ethereum in fraud cases, the Romanian government decided to put these digital currencies up for auction for sale.
Anyone will be able to participate in the online auction.
The agency "announced ANABI " the government agency responsible for the management of confiscated assets in Romania, it will launch a tender for some Alpetkoan and Alaithiriom confiscated in the fraud case.
The confiscated cryptocurrency will be sold by auction in accordance with the decision of the Ploiesti court.
The preconditions for participating in the auction were announced on the official website of ANABI, and among the announced terms are the following:
Buyers of auctioned bitcoin and Ethereum are subject to certain obligations from official institutions.
The person who bought the Bitcoin and Ethereum at the auction must inform ANABI of the platform and the address to which the coins will be transferred.
The platform for transferring Bitcoin and Ethereum that bought Bitcoin and Ethereum must be owned by a legal entity that is legally recognized in Romania and operates according to the standards.
The platform to which cryptocurrencies will be converted must have a “Know Your Customer” procedure in accordance with local and international standards.
