One day Professor Redmond started his
class and told his students to get ready
for a surprise test. The students were
nervous and waited at their desk for the
test to begin.
Redmond handed over the question
paper with the text facing down.
Once he finished distributing the
question paper to all, he told his
students to start. Everybody was
surprised to see that
there were no questions, just a black
dot in middle of the page.
Prof. Redmond saw the expression
on everyone's face, told the
following, please write what you see on
your paper.The students were confused
and did not know what to do
Nevertheless, everybody started
writing.
once everybody finished,
prof Redmond took all the answer
papers and started reading from each
one of the answers papers in front
of all the students. All the students with
no exceptions described the black dot,
trying to explain its position in the
middle of the sheet etc.
After all the answer papers had been
read,the classroom was silent
The professor began to explain,
l am not going to grade any one of
you on what you have written, just
wanted to give you
something to think about.
None of the student had written about
the white part of the paper.
All of you focused on the black dot And
the same happens in our Life.
We have a white paper to observe
and enjoy, but we tend to focus
on the dark spots.
Life is a gift given to us by god with
love and care.
We always have reasons to celebrate
and be thankful.
"However, we tend to focus only on
the dark spots.
Be happy and live a life with gratitude!"
Moral of this story:
As prof Redmond explained, life is a
mixed bag of good and bad things.
What we focus on grows in our life,so
why to waste our time thinking
about the negative aspects of life.
Having a right attitude can help
you to focus on positive aspects of
life.Keep the right attitude and
GROW IN LIFE..!!!
