In ancient times there was a young man who was very affectionate in nature.
his name is Tiyago. Tiyago lives at the foot of a vast mountain.
Tiyago's job is to guard the mountain and its forests. He made sure no one would hunt animals, cut down trees or destroy the plants.
One day Tiyago noticed the nearby forest. There was black smoke coming out of the area just a few minutes later into a red flame.
"The war is burning!" she exclaimed not knowing what to do.
Because of this, Tiyago promised himself that he would never neglect the mountain under guard.
Day and night Tiyago couldn't sleep any more and the news spread that a group of bandits were burning in the forest.
There are some acquaintances of Tiyago who also volunteer to guard their mountain and jungle but can only watch each morning. Because they are families they want to spend time with their wives and children at night.
So Tiyago was able to get some sleep in the morning and stay up all night. Even when he became ill he could not be kept awake at night. He said at this time the bad guys might have attacked because they knew there was no guard.
When Tiyago died someone succeeded him in guarding the forest. It was a bird with big eyes and was awake all night. Concerned about Tiyago, they called the owl the bird that is to this day guard the forest.
