In the past, there was a couple whose livelihood was to grow vegetables. They sell it and sometimes they even eat it.

The couple is blessed with a beautiful daughter. They called it Maita. The child has beautiful, oily and soft hair. When the sun shines, Maita's hair shines like gold. The child likes to be self-sufficient. To keep it nice and soft, it takes about a few minutes to brush and straighten the hair.

Maita's father often told her to stop overcrowding and help with the housework. But her mother is so pleased with her well-being that she just lets it go. Maita was still young; she will also marry her hair and someday she will also help with chores.

However, her mother made a mistake. Instead, it was even more impressive to himself and to his hair. If it had taken her only a few minutes to comb and straighten her hair, she would now have to spend hours sometimes even all day long.

One day, his father became ill. His mother had to sell their vegetable crops so they could buy food and medicine for the father.

Her mother strongly instructed Maita to do housework. She insisted that she cook something to eat and that this evening she would be home from town. Watch out that he is his father and feed it to open. He also reminded them not to water their vegetable gardens because the soil in their yard was dry. The boy was upset that he had consented. She was the one who cared for her father and their house.

Maita would have started to do what her mother told her to do when she passed their mirror and looked at her hair. He paused and took his comb. The kid thought it was too early. He would fix his hair first. Maita blushed. It was interesting and overlooked in the past. Even the poor call of his father asking for food had not been heard by the boy. It bothers her to fix her pretty hair.

The sun had set and Maita's mother had arrived. It was astonishing to see their vegetable crops dried up because they had not been watered all afternoon. He looked up at Maita and saw the busy boy dangling in front of the mirror.

Maita's mother scolded her for doing nothing to those whom she had charged. Even feeding the sick father was impossible for Maita. The older boy said so much that he would have thinned his hair so that he would not waste his time combing it. Tomorrow, too, the elders will cut Maita's hair. The boy cries out. But the mother did not follow it, she went to the kitchen to cook the poor husband especially for the hungry.

When Maita's mother was so consumed with anger that she searched for the child in the yard but could not find it. She also asked the neighbors but no one saw the child. Maita had been looking for Maita for a long time but no one knew where the child was.

One morning when the mother was sweeping the yard, she saw a new plant emerging. It has long leaves. The old man watered it. After a few weeks the plant will bear fruit. As the fruit was picked up and peeled, the couple saw it with granular yellow. The fruit also has thinning hairs that are thin and nice. The couple were moved to tears of beautiful hair. They remembered the hair of their daughter Maita who was just as skinny and beautiful.

They thought it was probably the missing child. Since then, they have called the plant corn.

"Β He looked up at Maita and saw the busy boy dangling in front of the mirror."

This must be: She looked up at Maita and saw the busy girl dangling in front of the mirror.

Is there anyone who can help you correct this story? There are more confusing parts because of the translation used.
