NASA faced a major setback in the mission to send people back to the moon. According to the plan, the space research organization wants to send astronauts to the lunar soil next year.
For this purpose, on July 4, NASA launched Cislunar Autonomous Positioning System Technology Operations and Navigation Experiment or Capstone satellite towards the moon.
The small satellite weighing 25 kg was launched properly, but the company suddenly lost contact with the satellite yesterday while going from the earth's orbit to the moon.
NASA researchers have been working to establish contact with the satellite but so far have not been successful.
