.Trends in looking for work are usually the most sought after are positions, salaries, benefits and pensions. It all comes down to one thing, namely about money. It is still clear in my memory when a very viral news emerged, a fresh graduate refused the salary offered of 8 million / month. The reason is because the prospective employee feels that the salary offer is inappropriate, because he comes from a leading university graduate in Indonesia. What I want to discuss here is not this incident. But about a person's orientation in looking for work and when working. Luckily .., even though my educational background comes from an Islamic university, which incidentally the major that I took was about Islam. However ... all of my work experience is very different from what I learned in college.
Starting from teaching multimedia & computer studies at school, admin, assistant manager at a credit card agency office, a sales salesperson at a digital advertising office, to joining a startup company. It can be said that the capital of my knowledge and experience does not exist at all, aka zero. Everything is done learning by doing. Then how to easily get a job? Here are 3 (three) things that are important values: 1. Honesty
The first thing the recruiter assesses on the prospective worker during the interview. This is where we can see how we answer the questions posed. Usually about telling self-profile, reasons for applying, brief knowledge of the position being applied for, and so on. The answers we give should not be made up, flow as is. We must know exactly what we are lacking in and be determined to progress forward with a willingness to be guided and learn. Better to admit to being stupid, than to admit to being smart but zonk. As for the advantages, we should not be boastful by talking about our own privileges excessively. This is to prevent you from being impressed by just big talk. Please answer based on the opinions of the people who have interacted with you. Of course this must be done before you apply. Ask people for reviews about yourself, weaknesses and strengths. 2. Have Integrity In the world of work we meet many people who are smart and have abilities with high skills. But not necessarily have integrity. Trust is very expensive and Commitment is a fixed price. That will be your value. Uphold the values of the principles of truth and live them consistently. The attitude of a knight will be seen from how much courage to take responsibility for what we have said and done. 3. Good Attitude
Intelligence, skills, wide connectivity, can be defeated by a good attitude. An example of a worker who has a good attitude is being humble by always wanting to learn, politely communicating, respecting and appreciating without choosing the level of position, and having a character of a spirit of service.
Many things can bring you down, but the only thing that can really bring you down, is your attitude (R.A Kartini).
Working is not just the completion of a job desk, there are human things that must be cultivated so as not to become selfish.
Have social care, put ears and empathy to help the needs of others. You don't need to feel like you want to appear dignified by wanting to be considered important and respected, but be the one who can be useful. The best human being is the most useful for others (Al-Hadith). Honesty, integrity and good personality is something that is becoming rare in this day and age. Make it as capital and believe success will come by itself.
Cool is not good at chasing money ... but money chasing you.
