- Why is there a sound when fingers are blown?

-Whether it is normal or funny, we usually point fingers. It is often seen that children compete with finger painting. So finger-pointing is a familiar habit of all of us. Fingers are not just fingers or toes. It is also seen that when we do various activities, when we move, when we exercise or when we pray, it is often seen that the connections of different parts of the body including our elbows, knees and ankles are exposed unintentionally.

We may think that the sound is caused by rubbing one bone with another. But that is not the point at all. The joints of the bones in our body are bound by a bundle of fibers or ligaments. The braces of these ligaments hold the bones on both sides of our body tightly. These bone fibers are somewhat elastic. When for some reason there is discomfort in the joints of the hands or feet, we try to get relief by pressing or twisting the ankles. Due to this pressure or twisting, the bones of the connecting ground move slightly on both sides. As a result, empty space is created there for some time.

As a result of this empty space, the fluid stored in the surrounding muscles and fibrous tissues quickly rushes towards that empty space. These fast-moving fluids from different directions make a sound when they come together in an empty space. Which can be called a small explosion. And that's the sound we hear and we think it's the sound of finger-pointing. The fast-moving fluids then slowly merge around again and the bones on both sides are again bound in its brackets. Bones take a little longer than fluid to join in their brackets. As a result, it is not possible to re-open the finger once after some time.

Fingernails are a bad habit. There is no harm to the body when the fingers are broken. However, excessive pressure on the fingers can lead to bone problems or bone fractures. According to a recent study, the risk of developing osteoarthritis or osteoarthritis is a slightly lower risk of osteoarthritis. However, neck fractures should be avoided, as fractures can cause permanent pain in the neck, major neck vein problems or even death.
