What's your ambition??

A general question asked by all teachers and parents since our childhood. Usually, we answer it, I want to become a police officer, teacher, doctor, pilot and it keeps on varying year by year. After reaching high school, A common advice given by our parents and teachers by, "Study well, so that you can get a scholarship in 11std and 12std." Scoring better marks in 10std and entering into higher secondary. On choosing a group most people recommend choosing a science group but we know that studying science could be tough. Now a days many choose commerce so that there won't be much to read. Then what! it is easy to pass commerce and enter a college.

In the course of time, our parents usually say, "Become whatever you want, we won't force you " Money minded people will recommend choosing CA, CMA.....so that we can settle in life. During that stage a small idea will blink in our mind to choose some vocational group apart from a regular degree. Sometimes we think about a top university far from our residence. Conveying this wish to our parents and most of the replies would be "No, you should not stay far from our site. Hostel could spoil your character. Hostel are not safe. Food could be a major problem. " As a result we end up joining a local college for a regular.

I know that so far what you have read sounds uninteresting and cliche.

But did you ever think that, finally we get a life whatever parents desired to give us. A degree with good marks, a normal job with good salary, staying in local residence on their site with a family. Now a days it has become the goal of life. Most of our lives go on like this, "Being not able to explore/move out of cities. That's just we need a comfortable life. As a result we end up with a normal life style like people around us.

There are famous quotes, "Life beings where the comfort zone ends. Many don't realise this. And those people who moved a step further by studying in the top university, trends to improve their life style. And also the who choose a different fields, end up with a new life style and enjoy doing their work and opt themselves with that and become successful at the earliest. There are people who change their stream after graduation. At the right stage of life they recognize what they opt for. B.sc(math) students wants to become a newsreader. B.com students wants to become a mimicry artiest.

Adolescence, the right age to start chasing dreams.

Consider the students of foreign countries, where they have sufficient schools not only for bio CSC, commerce but also music, dance, theatre society arts, broadcast. Their parents also support to join this schools. Those students aim at a particular field and get specialists in those fields and become successful at the earliest.

Where as most of us don't get a chance to recognize what we opt for. In my opinion, that's why most of the Bangladeshi remain graduated but unemployed and underemployed. We have more youths but we can't utilize them because they are not aware of themselves.

Intelligence without ambition is like a bird without wings.
