Sajek Valley is a famous tourist destination of Sajek Union under Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati district in Bangladesh . Located just north of Rangamati, the Sajek Valley has two neighborhoods - Ruilui and Kanlak. Founded in 175, Ruilui Para is located at an altitude of 1,620 feet. Kanlak Para is located at an altitude of 1,600 feet. Sajak Valley is also known as "Rangamati Roof".
Sajek Ruiluipara and Kanlak Para, a combination of these two neighborhoods. Founded in 175, Ruilui Para is located at an altitude of about 1,620 feet above sea level and Kanlak Para is located at an altitude of 1,800 feet above the kalnak hills. The Sajek are mainly inhabited by the Lusai, Pangkhoa and Tripura tribes. Much of Rangamati can be seen from Sajek Valley. For this reason Sajek Valley is called the roof of Rangamati .
The name Sajek Valley comes from the Sajek River which originates from the Karnafuli River.
Clouds, mountains and green everywhere in Saje. From here sunrise and sunset can be given. You can trek from Ruilui Para in Sajek to kanlak hill . Kanlak is the highest peak of Sajak. On the way to Kangla, one can see the huge hills of the Mizoram border, the way of life of the tribals, and the clouds all around. Tribal festivals are held here at certain times of the year and various aspects of their culture can be enjoyed.
