ABSTRACT : The premier League is undoubtedly one of the best football League in the world. In this article we are going to analyze the two top teams of the League this season.

CHAMPION : Manchester City

RUNNERS-UP : Liverpool

and also why It's one of the best and even can be called as the best football league in the world. Let's start :

MANCHESTER CITY :

"Manchester is Blue". Yes Manchester is not red anymore and certainly with the rise of Manchester city and the fall of Manchester United, it can easily be said. This year was city's 4th title in the last five years. This shows how much of a dominant team they have become in the last decade.

City acquired 93 points just passing Liverpool by 1 point. The title decider brought us to the final day of the league where city had to win.

In the last match city faced Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa. City had to win in order to be champions again.

Till 70 minutes City were trailing by 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium. With Liverpool drawing Against wolves it seemed pretty much confusing that who's is going to be the champion.

But with a brace from super sub Ilkay Gundogan and Rodrii city were able to clinch their Title as Champions of England.

Throughout the whole season the played brilliantly and finished it with only 3 losses and a goal difference of +73, the highest in the league this season.

Their star player Kevin De Bruyne was even named as the "Player of the season". De Bruyne was also the highest goal scorer for city in the league.

Overall they showed a very fascinating display in this season.

Liverpool :

Losing the league by a one point margin to Manchester city is not a bad result when you already have won two domestic tournaments (carabao cup and FA cup) and also with the champions League final to be played against Real Madrid.

Overall Liverpool tried their best with 92 points. Having only two losses in the league is something that we Don't see very often from a team.

Their talisman Mohammed Salah has won the Golden boot (jointly with Heung Min Son) by scoring 23 goals.

Overall Liverpool tried their best in the league but were unfortunate to lose the title.

Comparing with the other four top European leagues premier League is the best because in the case of the other League’s only EPL was the league in which the title was decided on the last day. Not just that in all the other League's the point difference between first and second was very high (except Serie -A).

In this league almost every team has a chance to fight with the top teams. we Don't see them very often.
