Pandemic

I know a lot of us are suffering right now.

From jobs that let us go to money that seemed like a dream ago.

Then there's family that as much as you want to hug and hold, you just can't seem to do because of fear of transmitting something naked to the eye.

I get you.

But I think the greatest fear would be being in a faraway place and learning your immediate family sick.

I think that would be the greatest fear.

Not knowing.

This pandemic has taught us the beauty of social distancing, the love in withholding and the importance of clean hygiene.

And this new year, I hope the lessons we learned in this roller coaster ride called 2020 nevee leave us. Lessons that hopefully we impart on our children and granchildren as they grow and explore rhe world.

Teach them.....not to destroy Mother Earth.

Stop eating animals that aren't really meant to be eaten (e.g. bats).

Be a lot more conscious of yourself when you are sick.

Rest is always okay because it helps you recharge.

Family must always come first.

Look for the beauty in everything.

You can always get creative to entertain yourself.

I say these because I know in the next 5, 10, 15 or 20 so years, everyone will forget the Corona Virus and the impact it made to humanity.

They'll probably forget how we lost so many lives as we fought its battle and how many doctors and nurses were lost in the frontlines because we ordinary citizen failed to do our part.

Life is a fragile thing. No one knows where it ends.

But all I know is that it can be taken care of just by learning from your mistakes and avoiding the same mistakes you made.
