The good thing about the southern part of Negros Occidental is that it faces the west. When I'm at the beach during sundown, I would always take the opportunity to take pictures especially when I'm seeing beautiful sceneries like this. It was in 2019 when I took this shot, the very first day I tried capturing the sunset with my days old Vivo S1 Pro smartphone. It's bedtime guys!

Christmas is just around the corner! I told you yesterday that I went to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. My sole purpose of traveling was to buy medicine at a Chinese drugstore and send it to Iloilo City via Oceanjet Fastcraft at BREDCO Port so I opted to drive my motorcycle. I first went to Ayala Central to check if the said store has available stock. Unfortunately, they were selling the product in retail only. I remembered that I had to buy a cologne, one for me and the other for our close friend but had to move fast or else I'll get caught in the rain. Bench Store is at the 2nd floor so I hurriedly went there and bought the colognes. There were so many people outside so I got curious. I found out that there's some sort of martial arts competition but I was attracted to that gigantic Christmas Tree at the activity center. There were also hanging decors. I just took 2 snaps and went out of the mall and proceeded to SM City Bacolod where I was able to buy a bottle of Milk Thistle.

Who wants to go for a ride with me?🏍️ I'm off with my bike for a 65-kilometer ride going north. I'll just buy a bottle of medicine and send it through fastcraft to the next island. This motorcycle has been with me for almost 2 years and a half but I don't use it often.

@ridesnleisure

What do you usually do when you're bored? It was a boring Sunday months ago and I don't have any plans to go for a ride or go somewhere else but just stay at home. I was lighting an incense to kill mosquitoes inside the room when I became interested in photographing smoke. The background isn't thtt dark but I think I was successful in overcoming my boredom.🤣 I hope you'll like these shots and edits. I'm somehow bored right now and having a long ride is my best option. 🏍️ Enjoy the day everyone!

How many times per day do you usually post here at noise.app? I only had two posts yesterday. Since it's a Saturday and I don't have work, I did the laundry to take advantage of the good weather. I was planning to go to Bacolod City to buy medicine but I thought of washing my motorcycle first. Seldom do I clean my motorcycle nowadays coz whenever I do that, it consumes much of my time. I started at 12 noon and finished the work around 2 PM. By the time I finished the task, it was about to rain so I decided to push through with the plan the next day. I failed to visit the beach today to capture sceneries at sunset but I still have another one here from 2 days ago.

@ridesnleisure

Rest Day or Wash Day? Most of us are looking forward for the weekend so that we can have our needed rest from school or work. I already had breakfast and done with my laundry. Washing clothes is a tiring task to do but I think I enjoyed it somehow. Look at what I've got!😁

@ridesnleisure

Do you also experience slow internet speed at night? I'm always excited to share with you new pictures once I get a nice click. Poor internet speed, however, prevents me from doing so. This is a late post but I just find happiness when I'm able to capture a scene like this.

@ridesnleisure

Who's excited for the golden hour? We'll be off work at 5 PM, just a few minutes from now. I almost forgot that I still have some photographs that I haven't shared with you. I know some of you can still remember that I went to the beach to capture some sunset pictures yesterday. Here's one of those shots.

@ridesnleisure

Who loves to eat raw fish? My officemate brought a small bowl of this raw seafood dish "Kinilaw nga Tabagak", as we call it in our dialect. Tabagak is a kind of sardines. Kinilaw is referred to as Philippine ceviche due to its similarity to the Latin American dish ceviche. A cup of rice, adobong manok and vegetables would complete my brunch.

So happy with my BCH conversion! I opened my Binance account a few minutes earlier to check if the deposit I made from my Bitcoin.com Wallet has already arrived and confirmed. Upon checking, I received a little less than my sent amount which was $41 and it's normal. It took me a while finding out a way to proceed with BCH conversion to USDT and transferring from Spot to Funding maybe because of app update, pop-ups or it's just that I occasionally use the platform.😂 To cut the long story short, I was able to sell my 41.09 USDT at an exchange rate of Php 59.25. That's a little higher compared to the prevailing rate of Php 58.90 to a US Dollar.

@ridesnleisure

Letting Go and Moving On As much as I wanted to hold my BCH, I had not choice but to withdraw almost all my earnings here in noise.app. I have options to apply for loan but it would still take days before I can receive the amount. There are online loans as well but are charging big interests and you have to repay within 15 days or less. I'm very thankful for all the generous donors who in one way or the other has helped me fall in love with photography all over again. Even though I don't have expensive cameras, I'm just happy that even if I'm just using a smartphone, I started looking for the beauty in my everyday life and found a whole new world of picture-taking possibilities that I never noticed before.

@ridesnleisure

How do you reward yourself? After a busy day, watching the sunset is one way to reward myself. Despite of the rain late this afternoon, the 3rd of November had been kind to me. It was starting to get dark but I know I still have plenty of time to catch the sunset should I decide to go to the beach. With such a scenic view, I found pleasure in taking as many pictures as I can coz I'm not certain if tomorrow's weather would be better or as good as today.

@ridesnleisure

I was a little busy today, going from one office to another. Still we have a place like this to breathe some fresh air and a nice view of greeneries, reflections and still waters. The place is commonly known as Tinagong here in Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental. Such a nice place to relax for a while.

@ridesnleisure

A Hairy Worm and Two Little Snails I spotted these small creatures on trees earlier. The first one is a hairy worm which would soon be either a butterfly or moth, I don't know.😂 The snails on the 2nd picture seem to have a parade as they both climb up the tree. I just turned the image clockwise so it would be easier for users to see.

@ridesnleisure

It's a brand new day! After a week of heavy rains and storm that hit the country which left so many damages, I can see a brighter day. I just woke up and when I saw the sky has brightened up, I immediately went outside to witness God's wonderful creation. A few minutes of sunshine helps me get a dose of Vitamin D.

@ridesnleisure

Do you love listening to music that can help you relax, sleep, or study more effectively? I love music but most of the time I can't sleep when a song is being played coz I tend to sing the song or figure out the notes or chords by ear. If it's difficult for me to sleep, however, listening to relaxing ocean wave sounds help me fall asleep faster. I love the sound of waves crashing on the beach. I've attached here a picture of splashing waves I captured right at our beachfront in Iloilo a few months back.

@ridesnleisure

What do you think are these people doing? I just love silhouette photography. If you had been following me in noise.cash, I think you have observed that most of my pictures featured the same place over and over again during sunsets. I'm sharing this picture from more than a year ago since I really miss taking this type of shots.

Isaw, betamax, barbecue and paninda nila. Sa mga masisipag na mga kapay na yan nakadepende ang kanilang pang-araw-araw na gastusin.

@ridesnleisure

I had a special friend today!🦋 In a rare opportunity, I have captured this orange and black butterfly up close. I saw it on one of my Alocasia plants so I tried to move slowly to get near this beautiful little creature. It stayed still and looking tame. We became instant friends and I managed to make some snaps while it rested on my index finger. Do you consider this as a good omen?

@ridesnleisure

I'm happy that my plants are looking happy today. It's our first day of work for this month and I just got back from my cut short vacation.😂 The first thing I did was to check on the plants around the office, how they were when I was away. This would be a good start and I'm motivated to accomplish the work at hand today while visiting this platform from time to time. Hoping that we all have a wonderful time today, happy and blessed.

@ridesnleisure

I'm now back in Negros Occidental and in a few hours I'll be doing office work, etc. again. My long vacation had been cut short because of Typhoon Paeng so I only had 2 days stay in Iloilo instead of 4 days. I wasn't able to visit beautiful places in the province and take as many pictures or even visit the cemetery yesterday. Most of the time I was just inside the compound going from one house to another or at the beach front, our extended backyard. I just want to share this view of this long steel bridge in my beloved hometown taken last May.

@ridesnleisure

I was scanning through my gallery until I found this photo. It was somewhere in February of this year while I was walking along the corridor when a construction worker called me and told me that they have found a skeleton of this unusually big animal on the ceiling. They even had a theory that such was a "sigbin". What are your thoughts on this?

@ridesnleisure

Would you dare to stare into this mirror? It's an antique mirror. There's actually two of them in our house. I don't know where my Uncle bought or got that and it's origins.

@ridesnleisure

@ridesnleisure

What are your preparations this All Saints Day? The day started with the sun showing up but an unexpected rain came. I was also late to watch to sunrise by the beach coz I slept late last night. Here's a snap of this one of a kind hibiscus flower in our backyard. It's supposed to be in white but this one has more pink petals. May you all enjoy the holiday, be with your loved ones or anything you wish to do today.

@ridesnleisure

Our house is full of artworks and antique collections so that you can see old portraits, painting and sculptures even when you climb up the staircase. My sister would tell us before that she was afraid to go to the room on the 2nd floor because there are eyes staring at her.

@ridesnleisure

I took pictures of our beachfront this morning. It's usually clean and calm but with the aftermath of Typhoon Paeng this is how it looks today. The sun showed up when I went there but it was raining most of the time. The storm also left a lot of debris, mostly scattered and piled up in our backyard and has destroyed our rest house.

@ridesnleisure

Kare-kare for the Holiday! I can't recall when was the last time I ate this dish. Kare Kare is just perfect for the occasion. It's a type of Filipino stew with a rich and thick peanut sauce. My Uncle bough a serve of pasta and mixed it with vegetables like string beans, eggplant, bok choy and banana blossoms. They say that the best way to eat kare-kare is to pair it with plain white rice. Bagoong alamang or fermented shrimp paste completes the dish by providing flavor. We also had dilis or smaltfried anchovies. The food was more than enough so we shared it with the people in the next house.
