A simple breakfast in a place I call homeπ‘π
I just grabbed this picture from my Uncle's FB post earlier coz he has already started eating when it was supposedly my turn to take the shot.π He is also good in creating captions (see next picture). I hope you understood those statements.
Let's have Batchoy Guys!
It's been a long time since I last travelled around Iloilo City by jeepney so I roamed around to look for the old route. I asked a few people but instead I've been circling around a block. Then I decided to go instead to Robinsons Place Iloilo to check if Watsons has the facial scrub I'm using. Since there was none, I went out of the mall but asked the Security Guard first if there's this route bound for Mohon and he said yes. By that time I felt hungry so I looked around again to look for the famous batchoy, Popoy's Batchoy which already has a branch at the mall. Finally, I found the place and ordered this Special Batchoy and requested for another bowl of soup. I don't know if it's breakfast, lunch or snacks but I feel great. My phone even notified me that I've reached my daily goal of 5,000 steps. After eating I proceeded to the Iloilo Supermarket where I rode an air-conditioned modernized jeepney going South of Iloilo.
Long Queue at the Terminal
I'll be catching the 11AM trip of Oceanjet bound for Iloilo City here at BREDCO Port, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. A lot of people are lining up at the ticketing outlet and waiting for their turns to be served since several trips have been cancelled since the Province has been under Tropical Storm Signal No. 1 for several days. Fastcraft and Roro trips had just resumed today and many people wanted to go home and spend the holidays with their families too.
A Time to Heal and Restore
Hours after the storm, the sun came shining, a sign of hope and new beginnings. I had to cross the bridge by the creek before leaving for Iloilo today. What you can see are motorized boats used for fishing which took shelter from the storm to avoid the crashing waves that has destroyed some which were left by the shore.
I'm ready to go home!
My vacation is cut short by Typhoon Paeng but I'll just make the most of my stay in our hometown. Our place is beside a fishpond and the beach is just next to it. It was a really beautiful morning when I took this picture some months ago. My sister, however, told me earlier that sea water has flooded the area because of huge waves late last night.
I hope all is well with you my friends.
A friendly dinosaur from the neighborhood is in the house and he's trying to cook some eggs (1st picture). At one point he was sweeping the floor (2nd picture). The kids are having fun while doing house chores.
I feel sleepy right now. Let's have coffee guys!
A Boy Bit the Dinosaur
It was raining earlier and I stayed beside my boardmate's sari-sari store. There are children playing and one of them was in dino costume. They were running after each other and I was fortunate to capture their fun moments.
Wanna join me my friends?
No electricity this morning but I still managed to boil water using the electric kettle before the power outage. I switched on the torch on my other phone so I can have light source and ended up having coffee with my shadow.π
Stuck at 99+?
I think I have been active here for most of the day and noticed that for quite some time, my Unread doesn't change even if I have already read a lot of posts. I have refreshed the page and still the Unread counter displays this 99+.
What are your preparations for the coming storm?
I just had lunch, actually brunch coz I just had bread and coffee very early in the morning. While waiting for the noon break, I visited the Tinagong Dagat to check the water level. I noticed this lonely lotus leaf that sparkle from afar. Its leaves holds water that look like large droplets.
Let's all be safe this rainy Friday.
It's raining heavily right now. I still thank God for this brand new day He has given us. One more thing to be thankful about is that blessings continue to pour in even even when I'm asleep. Who wouldn't be grateful for these early gifts, 2 successive $0.25. It's not that big compared to what others are receiving but it gives us hope during this trying times.
It's currently raining hard in the middle of the night and I remembered the time when I was at the municipal plaza. I waited for several hours for the rain to stop before going home. It's good that I still have intenet and so as not to get bored, I also tried taking these pictures.
Let's call it a night?
I know most of you are busy now preparing your dinner coz I'm seeing less posts around this time.
It's unfortunate that I still can't share with you a fresh snap at the beach during sunset. This time I'm giving you a glimpse of what's usually happening on the coastal area before it turns dark on a good weather. Fishing is the main livelihood of this community.
Location: Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental
Ano kaya silbi nito?
Napakamalikhain lang talaga ng mga Pinoy. Nakita ko lang sa bubong ng tricycle habang papuntang office kanina. Mukhang kakaiba kaya kinunan ko na.π
How is the weather in your area?
Just got back to work and have to pass by the creek again. I saw motorized boats starting to leave the place. This is actually the other side of the creek when you cross the bridge. It's been a perfect refuge for water vessels during times of storms and huge waves on a bad weather. I asked one bystander why the boats are leaving. He answered, "Nagkalma na ang baybay". It means the sea is calm already.
No classes with the sun up, bright and shining?
Classes here in Negros Occidental are suspended due to heavy rains, but hey, it's sunny now! I passed by a fishpond and I can see the sun's reflection. When you look closely at the picture, there are even tilapias enjoying their swim.
Do you love walking with your pets?
Every afternoon there's this group of boys who bring their teacher's pet to the beach for a walk. It's always almost the same time that I visit the place. This one is from my gallery.
Good morning everyone.
Have you tried making sand castles when you were younger?
I saw these sand castles when I went to the beach last June to watch the sunset. Some children probably came to play that afternoon and left afterwards coz it was turning dark.
Let's all be safe as there's a coming storm.
How many ear piercings do you have?
Actually I have none. Just saw this container at the guardhouse containing confiscated earrings. The school does not allow male students to wear earrings and female students to have more than 1 pair of earrings. Some must be genuine and some are fake.π€£
Let's try some macro shots this time!
Any minute from now, it's gonna rain again. Just wanna make use of my free time to capture interesting subjects after having my late breakfast.
Who's excited for the long weekend?
Three days from now I'll be going back to my hometown in Iloilo. Thanks for the many holidays and we'll have a long vacation.
It looks like it's gonna be a rainy Wednesday here so I'm sharing with you this picture from my gallery.
Let's choose to be happy!π
Wow! Another surprise while I was asleep.
I was not expecting to receive such blessing since I slept early coz my stomach aches. While it's raining outside, noise.app blessings keep pouring. This $1 is the first donation I received on my Bitcoin.com Wallet for today. The opportunity to earn here at noise.app is really a big help and I thank all of you my generous donors and supportive friends.
How would you like to hangout on a beach at sunset and meet new friends?
Mission failed for today coz I didn't push through of the plan to go to the beach right after work because I won't catch any sunset upon seeing thick dark clouds covering the skies. I just want to share this photo from my gallery.
Hoping to meet new friends here in this new platform. π
I would pass by this area when I go back to work after lunch. It's not hot today even if it's noontime. There's this group of students stopping by the creek too. They were actually observing that old man who's having a great time fishing. Such a relaxing place, right?
Do you use your phone, laptop or desktop computer when logging into noise.app?
I tried to use my desktop PC this time. My default browser is Google Chrome. This is how it looks. I normally use my two phones alternately when using this platform. I thought I forgot my password but I was just required to input my email address and a verification code was sent so I can access my account. It's not a hard process at all and in no time I'm posting here again.
Are you all in noise.app?
Let's have a lively discussion on different topics by following me: https://noise.app/ridesnleisure
I'm sharing my recent snap of this beautiful fungus.
Are you familiar with these fungi?
I found them growing in one area just outside the office. Maybe they knew I love photography that's why they made it easy for me to spot them.π I'm sharing five different pictures so feel free to browse. It would be nice if you can share with us your knowledge about them.
I'm supposed to be sharing 6 photos coz there's still an option to add one but there's a prompt that I should have not more than 5 items in 1 post.
Did you get a good night's sleep?
I just woke from up from more than 6 hours of sleep. Actually I don't sleep that long. It's somehow cold and I just knew that it rained while I was asleep.
Let's enjoy a cup of coffee guys! Here's a fresh snap of a new dradon tail (Epipremnum pinnatum) leaf. A cleansing rain washed the dust to reveal the plant's green beauty. Such a refreshing sight.π
