Marcotting is also a way to increase the number of our trees. It does not require much skill, unlike grafting.

Grafting is the grafting of a branch into a young branch so that it can bear fruit easily. Or the combination of different branches to multiply the variety in a tree.

Now let's study how to properly root the branches so that they can multiply and also produce early fruit.

THINGS.

1. Cutter or knife

2. Transparent Plastic bag

3. Soil mixed with coconut milk, clay soil can be mixed with coconut milk. Can also loom soil.

4. Yarn or any binder.

5. Alcohol

WHAT CAN I MARCOT?

All Mango, all kinds of citrus, avocado, guyabano, lichee, longgan, rambutan, or all the fruit tree's, even other plants like gumamela, san francisco, santan, bougainvillea, and so on.

BRANCH SELECTION:

The choice of branches is important because it depends on what the tree will look like when it grows old, the branches should be free of defects, such as tooth decay or the branch with holes in it because it already has worms inside.

PROCESS

1. Take cotton wool with alcohol and wipe the cutter or scissors first to avoid contaminated use. Drink alcohol by hand.

2. Take a cutter or scissors and start peeling the tree branches

3. Place the cutter blade on the branch and begin to press around the branch.

4. 2 to 3 inches away from the first sign.

5. Cut the skin from the first mark to the second mark and you can see it in figure # 2 in the picture. That's what it looks like when there is no more skin.

6. Take plastic and tie it to the left side of the branch i inch away from the cut skin.

7. Apply ground mixed with coconut milk to the removed part of the skin over the ground to the part with the skin. Remember that the soil to be placed must be wet, its wetting, when you squeeze it there will be no more juice, because it will start tying it so that you do not water what you did. Because only moist plastic will serve as its water.

8. Tie the other end of the plastic.

9. Wait 20days to 30days depending on the size of the rooted branch. Can take up to 90days depending on the branch.

10. When you see a root coming out or twisting inside the plastic, you can cut it to be transferred to your chosen plant.

That's all and thank you very much.
