A study conducted by the Wellcome Sanger Institute, UCL, and the University of Birmingham found that poor immunity is a cesarean effect on the baby. It was discovered in a study called the Baby Biome Study after examining 1,679 samples of gut bacteria from nearly 600 babies and 175 moms.

According to the study, babies born through delivery of the genitals are said to be healthier compared to those born through cesarean section delivery. Because of the baby's exposure to the bacteria he came out with his Mommy's strength. These bacteria are called microbiomes. It plays an important role in keeping our stomachs strong and healthy.

It is also the bacteria that protects a person from allergies, overweight and inflammatory bowel disease. The same goes for Parkinson’s disease, depression and autism.

These healthy bacteria are not transmitted by those born by cesarean section delivery. Instead, the study found that they get more bad bacteria from the birth hospital which in turn causes blood vessel infections. Provide an increased risk of developing type 1 diabetes, allergies and asthma.

Similar findings have been made in a new study published in the journal Cell.

Because they do not get healthy bacteria from their mother's stomach

According to the results of the study, the microbiota possessed by babies born through CS delivery is very different from those born with normal delivery of the vagina.

A microbiota is the microbes that live in a person's stomach. It plays an important role in strengthening the immune system of newborn babies. According to science, it is ingested by babies once they pass through their mother's womb out of the womb at birth. Something that babies born by cesarean do not experience. Cause they do not get microbiota from their mother which is said to boost immunity in their body.

"It's a gift the mother gives to her baby."

But still based on the study, there is something to be done to normalize the microbiota of babies born through cesarean delivery. This is through a fecal matter transplant or Mommy giving her poop CS baby. The study found that after trying to perform the procedure on 7 mothers who gave birth to their child through cesarean delivery.

The researchers first collected and analyzed the sampling samples of the mothers who participated in the study. This is to find out if it contains pathogens that can harm babies.

Announcement

When babies are born, each of them is breastmilk fed with 3 ½ milligrams of their mother's stool. Babies are then subjected to testing to determine the status of their fetal microbiota. They were also monitored for two days in the hospital and monitored for up to three months.

In the analysis and monitoring, the researchers found that the microbiota levels of infants undergoing the procedure were far compared to other CS infants. Their microbiota is no different from that of babies born through normal vaginal delivery.

Recommendations and advice of the study conducted

So the study suggests, giving mommy poop to her CS baby is a great way to prevent the cesarean effect of their baby and boost their immunity. It is also said to be more effective compared to vaginal seeding. This is the procedure which draws fluid from the vagina to wipe the baby's face and mouth. It is said that it is even dangerous because of the group B strep bacteria that babies can get here. But still study advice, this method is still in the research phase. It should only be done by experts. It can't just be done at home and with your baby.
