Take it Slow
"Life is unpredictable. So find time to enjoy life as much as possible. Take it slow."
Yesterday we visited the School Head of Pingalay Elementary School, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines: Dr. Ansar Malambol. He got his Doctor of Education degree at a very young age and was promoted as a School Head even before he reached 30 years old. He worked hard to reach the pinnacle of success of his chosen field- Education. He was at the peak of his career when he found out that he already has a stage 3 bone cancer. During our visit with him, we asked him what is his realization in life after going through chemo sessions and after draining all his savings for his medication. Below is his response:
"Life is unpredictable. So find time to enjoy life as much as possible. Take it slow."

Life is full of uncertainties. Sometimes, we are so focus on things that we thought could make our life better only to realize that we missed to enjoy the details of life all because we are busy chasing those temporal things like titles, cars, big houses, bank accounts, etc.
We beat ourselves so hard that we missed to savour the joy of hearing and feeling the genuine laughter of our friends while they are bonding together during break times.
Do not forget to enjoy to the fullest this beautiful world that God has given you, and have a wonderful life in it! Your life is a miracle, because you could have remained nonexistent and unborn.
Your stay here is a privilege, because you’ve been allowed to spend a lifetime, to participate in human history, and to experience all the joys and pleasures and exciting possibilities in your corner of the world. But remember—all of it is just the tip of the iceberg, a mere dress rehearsal for the main event, which is the life after you die.
All the beauty you see on earth is just a glimpse of the resplendent, transcendent beauty in heaven. All the happiness you experience in this life is merely the appetizer before the grand banquet of eternity. And all the love that surrounds you throughout your life is but an intimation of the overwhelming and unimaginable love of God that’s waiting for you in the life that’s yet to come.
