EgonCoin Blockchain- a Game Changer
What is EgonCoin blockchain?
EgonCoin blockchain is an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible public blockchain. It is a specially built infrastructure that is designed for a decentralized ecosystem.
The project was initiated by the Eagle Network Core Team in February 2021. The team first launched the Eagle Miner App which was designed to mine for EGON token- the native token of the EgonSwap DEX. Since then the project has undergone a notable growth with a massive following of about 3 million community members.
The team then proceeded to the next phase of the project which is to built a native blockchain using a form of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) called as Elevated Proof of Stake (EPoS). This concensus algorithm simply means that the applications running on the Ethereum can be ported into our blockchain easily.
EGC (EgonCoin) is designed to be used as the main utility coin on the EgonChain with a superfast transaction speed (10k TPS) and cheaper transaction fees for each transaction on the network.
EGC is the main utility asset too on the upcoming Self Custody Exchange that would empower the project's ecosystem. The coin will be listed in the crypto exchange when the mainnet launching comes.
We are currently in the testnet phase. When the testnet goes well, mainnet launching will follow.
