Single Mistake Is Enough To Lose Your Crypto Forever
You are in crypto and it is not that you always make a profit and do better. You invest in cryptocurrency and work hard to build your crypto portfolio. Due to a single mistake, you can lose everything in crypto.
We all transfer crypto from one wallet to another wallet. Maybe you just buy crypto and are about to transfer it to your wallet from the crypto exchange. If you make any mistake putting the wallet address, you will lose your crypto.
In the beginning, you are very careful to put the address to send crypto. When you become comfortable, you might get careless. You did it many times, so you insert the address and hit the withdraw button.
The thing is, no matter how many times you did it or how comfortable you are with transferring crypto, once you make mistake in the address, that's enough to lose your crypto. It does not matter how many times you did it before.
Sometimes you are excited, anxious, or don't feel good. Or, maybe you are in a hurry. There is a high chance you will make mistake at the time. So you have to be more careful. Or, you may make transactions later, not at that time.
Don't write the crypto address, copy it and then paste it into the address bar. You should check at least twice before taking further action. You put the address right, but you make a mistake to use the correct network. Then you will be in trouble.
If you want to send your crypto to the Polygon network, select the network. When you send your crypto to BSC or Ethereum network instead of Polygon, you will not get your crypto. You have to get the crypto address and network right before sending cryptocurrency.
To avoid this kind of mistake and ensure you are doing everything right, you can send little crypto at first and check whether you get it in your wallet. Then transfer the rest of your crypto. There is no alternative to being careful at the time of making any transaction in cryptocurrency. It is because one single mistake is enough to lose your crypto forever.
