Ripple Labs' victory against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) creates positive vibes. The legal battle against the SEC started in December 2020. Now it's clear that XRP is not an unregistered security that the SEC claimed.

XPR price increased more than 70%, the price going up from $0.47 to $0.83. Not only the XRP community but also other crypto communities are happy about the outcome. Scammers take advantage of this situation to scam people.

Ripple CTO David Schwartz warned the community about ongoing scams of XRP airdrops. Scammers pretending as XRP community leaders promote fake XRP airdrops. Ripple CTO clearly mentioned in the tweet that there is no XRP airdrop or giveaways.

If you see any XRP airdrops in your feed, it is certain that the offer comes from scammers. Stay away from clicking any links to claim airdrops. Scammers replicate the official Ripple website and set up everything in such a way that people will not have any doubt at first glance.

Potential victims might connect their wallets or give information requested by crypto scammers. Later scammers will drain all crypto from the victims' wallets. Sometimes people get offers to get double the amount of XRP that is sent to the mentioned address.

Ripple stated that Ripple and its executives will never ask for any funds from the users. If you get any giveaway offer to double your XRP by sending XRP, it is obviously a scam. Report and block the tweet if you see any.

People are excited about XRP. Since the price went up quickly, it draws many people's attention. Scammers take advantage of the excitement and positive vibes to trick people. Don't be greedy and jump on to grab something out of FOMO.

There must be some reasons behind any offer you get. Nothing is free. Check that out and understand it first to move forward. Doing something out of FOMO without doing any research often leads to something pretty bad.

Scammers and fraudsters are active to take advantage of any situation. They make the scams look like a legit offer. More people fall for that because that is relevant and goes on the trend. Be aware of the scammers' moves and protect yourself from scams.
