Hard Work, Income and Success
It is interesting to see how much time you spend working and how much you are paid for that. While doing a job, you go to the office at a certain time and you work up to a certain time. You can calculate how much you get as a salary and how much time you work in the office.
You will find the hourly rate. In case you work on hourly basis and you are paid based on the hour you spend to work, that's clear. You want to increase your salary, that means your time will be worth more.
When you trade off everything based on hours, you may not make that much money that you usually think. You should do something where you make money that is not based on how much time you spend over there. For example, you make a product, it is on your platform online, you do marketing for that. And you get sales 24/7. You don't have to be online always. You are getting sales while you are sleeping as well.
What does success mean to you? How you define your success can be different from others. The meaning of success is not the same for everyone. So you should define your own success.
You want to do something or reach a certain level, if you can do that, you think you are successful. After defining your success, you can make a plan of action. When you keep doing things one by one, you are moving towards success.
Doing something on your own or starting a business and making it successful are your goals. Now you spend a lot of time and work hard for that. But you are not earning much at that point. If you compare it with your hourly pay as an employee, you are doing pretty bad. Here making a lot of money at this point is not your target.
You can make a lot of money if you run and grow your business. It takes time. So you cannot judge it by hourly pay. From the outside, it seems you are wasting your time. You know you are doing the right time. Once that becomes successful, you don't have to look back anymore.
So define your success and work hard, you will make money as long as you follow and love your process.
