One day, Rostam goes hunting near the Turan border, and after hunting, he falls asleep. Rakhsh, who was grazing in the meadow, was caught by several Turkish riders. After waking up from Rakhsh, Rostam sees nothing but his footprints. Following his footprint, he reaches Samangan. The news of Rostam's arrival in Samangan causes the elders and celebrities of the city to welcome him. Rustam threatens them that if Rakhsh is returned to him, he will behead many. The king of Samangan invites him to spend a night in his court to find Rakhsh for him in the morning. Rustam gladly accepts. In the court of Shah Samangan, Rostam meets Tahmineh and falls in love with her and proposes to Shah Samangan by a cleric. The next day, Rostam gives a bead to Tahmineh as a souvenir and says that if their child was a girl, he should tie this bead to his hair and if it was a boy, to his arm. After that, Rostam goes to Iran and does not share this secret with anyone. The child that Tahmineh gives birth to is a boy who is very similar to his father. After a while, Sohrab has become a strong youth compared to his peers, he asks his mother for his father's badge. The mother tells him the truth and ties the bead of the father's badge on his arm and warns him that Afrasiab, Rostam's enemy, should not be aware of this secret. Sohrab, hearing of his father's reputation, decides to invade Iran first and install his father in place of Kavous Shah on the throne, and then go to Turan and overthrow Afrasiab. Afrasiab cunningly sends an army to Sohrab Homan and Barman to help Sohrab and instructs them not to let Sohrab know Rostam. Sohrab invades Iran and Kavous Shah asks Rostam for help, Rostam and Sohrab face each other. Sohrab guesses from his appearance that he may be Rustam, but Rustam hides his name and lineage from him. In the first battle, Sohrab overcomes Rustam and wants to defeat him, but Rustam tricks him into saying that their custom is to defeat the opponent in the second victorious battle. But in the next battle that Rostam is victorious, he does not show mercy to Sohrab and as soon as he kills him, he sees the mark on his arm. And starts crying. Sohrab can now survive on the medicine that Kavous Shah has, but he refuses to give it out of resentment. After convincing Kavous to give the medicine, Sohrab said goodbye to Darfani.
