Bridging USDT on the Solana Network

The Solana Blockchain has had rapid growth, though faced with a couple of downtime, the Sol community is braving to accomplish their mission. An opponent will shy away for degrading the Solana Blockchain because the Solana community will most likely labeled it:  "just a little hiccup in our usual wonderful service". If your are a curious crypto human, you've had to ask why Sol is still braving that hard, we may guest: "Solana Community", they all are  strong behind Solana. Believe it or not, most similar crypto blockchains are holding on because of their communities just like Solana.

No matter the hiccups the Solana blockchain have faced, let's examine bridging UDST to Solana using a cross-chain bridge for the sake of the community, it shouldn't be far fetched anon. Because UDST is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, so you will need to use a bridge that can handle Ethereum/Solana bridging.

One bridge to handle the Ethereum/ Solana is the Portal Bridge, it uses Wormhole. Wormhole is a cross-chain messaging protocol. The Portal Bridge supports Solana, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom, and many more blockchains.

Your bridged UDST, becomes Solana wrapped UDST, which you can only use on the Solana blockchain not excluding Solana dApps. Fast forward, unwrapping your USDT becomes an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum Blockchain,  “unwrap” your UDST using same bridge. After unwrapping, you can send it from Solana back to Ethereum.

Since Solana mimic Ethereum, you will be wondering if Solana based NFTs could be bridged too, use the same bridge, to bridge your solana NFTs from various chains to Solana. Also, allbridge.io is an alternative to bridge Ethereum and Solana based tokens.

Bridging your assets will entail not just a wallet but a Solana and Ethereum-capable wallet, Math Wallet and phantom wallet, endeavor to switch your blockchain settings to Solana for easy deployment of your bridged UDST.

The Solana blockchain explorers will help you verify your transaction, explore with Solscan or Solana Explorer.
