In this post we are talk about the cryptocurrency DigiByte (DGB), that is a faster digital currency and can be used for digital assets, smart contracts, decentralized applications and secure autentication. Created in late 2013 and released in 2014, after 6 years of development we have the safest, fastest and longest existent blockchain.
Digibyte is a open source project and works through three layers:
Applications: the top layer is like an app store with clear real-world uses, so that all types of digital assets can be created with the DigiAssets, decentralized applicatoins (dApps) can be built on this blockchain, as smart contracts that leverage the rigidity and security can be encoded easily.
Digital asset: the middle layer provides security and administration. A Digital Byte of data, a representation of larger data or a unit that holds value, and cannot be duplicated or faked. A immutable public ledger where all transaction are recorded through five PoW (Proof of Work) algorithms that que establishes safety through proof of work using computational power for its mining only .
Core protocol: the bottom layer provied communication and operating procedures. The lowest level nodes in the DigiByte network communicate, so that thousands of people who use these services and have servers, computers, tablets or smartphones connected to the DigiByte network become a node and help the network to relay transactions.
All the DigiByte's blockchain is open source under MIT's license, that allow power to run and modify the sysem, in addition to that transparency allows binary verification and its source code.
Digibyte have never been funded through an ICO and the founder, developers and the community are unpaid volunteers that eliminate the bankrupt risk.
