I think the power of a moderator is too much on read.cash because of the following:

I can not add a comment to an article of a friend who has submitted that article to a community that has me banned.

But the owner of that article appreciates my comment and he should be in control of the content on his article page, not some moderator of a third party community.

An article stands for itself and is owned by the author and it is only second in priority that it can also get some more visibility by submitting that article to an appropriate community.

read.cash is enabling moderators to play dictators here, I think that should be fixed ASAP so that everyone can freely community with who they want to communicate with.

The moderator of a community can basically sabotage a user he does not like, even if that individual is respected by the owner of that article!

I have a friend who always appreciates and comments on my articles, but I can't comment on any of his articles.When I comment on his article, there are always spam comments so I can't comment. I don't know why this is happening but my friend can comment on my articles..

You obviously weren't here when communities stated to get 'featured'. That was a real dictatorship. Speaking for myself I was able to get double and triple points when posting an article in a community where I have moderator status and then commenting it. You, the user, on the other hand, only got points if I decided to accept your post.

So, in other words, what we have now is much better. You're just probably muted in that community. Is a moderator right and let's remember they don't get paid anymore for 'moderation job'. So it can be an accident or just a post the moderator didn't like, seemed scam, etc.

Don't mind it, there are plenty of communities, and now no one of them is featured.

In this situation, you can still make as short post, tagging your friend and telling them what you think about the article. Your comment won't be readily available to others seeing that article, but if the author is concerned with that, they can choose to post the article in a different community or without a community at all.

Actually, one of the notifications says "you were mentioned in a comment" so it is that simple.

I tried to tag you in a short post for testing purposes. It doesn't show up as a link, so I'm not sure if it worked. If you see it in your notifications and didn't subscribe to me, it probably worked. For what it's worth, this comment showed up in my notifications twice. If you didn't post it twice, then that probably means you tagged me here.
