The International Mother Language Day has been observed every year since February 2000 to promote cultural diversity. It is a red letter day in our national history.
Hi all fellow read.cash users. Hope you all keep well by the grace mercy of Allah. I am here to write an article about ' The International Mother Language Day' so let's begin.
The date represents the day in 1952 when students from different educational institutions demonstrated for recognition of their language, Bangla as one of the two national language of the then pakistan. They were shoot by the police in dhaka high court. Many student died in this shoot out. The streets of Dhaka University ruined by the blood of rafiq,jabbar, barkat blood. At last the pakistani rulers were compelled to accept Bangla as one of the second language in pakistan.
The UNESCO declared this day as International Mother Language Day.it is a big achievement for us.
The recognition of the day as The International Mother Language Day by UNESCO has upheld our prestige all over the world and we celebrate the recognition on 8th December 1999.
